Isabel, I’m already registered so I don’t know quite what happened for you, but it’s possible it had you sign in and now you need to go back and click on “Get Voucher” to get it. Once you complete your “purchase” (it’s free), it will show up in your “Your Vouchers” section on Amazon Local.

i’m going to bite the bullet (even though it’ll take another $10 for an A/C adapter too). I’m a sucker for gadgets and I’ve been thinking about a Kindle for awhile. For $59 total I can justify trying it out. I can give it to my daughters in a year or so if I get tired of it!

I’m in Ohio (Cincinnati) and it worked for me. I already have a second generation kindle. These new ones are so sleek, I have to decide which one to give to my mom. The bigger, older one I love that has 3G, or the new, smaller, cooler one with only wi-fi (but coupons! er…”ads”).
Nancy, if you have any type of charger where the USB cord can be removed from the A/C “block” (i.e. an iPod/iPhone charger) then that should work to charge the Kindle too.
At least that’s what I’m hoping, since I didn’t get the A/C adapter.
This site is costing me a FORTUNE … and I’m rather enjoying it!!!
