Load up your Kindle with Fairies

So, do you happen to have a fairy-crazy kiddo who already has or will be receiving a Kindle this year? I’ve got just the thing—Amazon just marked down several Rainbow Magic Fairies series to just $2.99 apiece. Each series is seven books apiece, so that’s just under $.43/title!

Choose from The Petal Fairies, The Pet Fairies, or The Weather Fairies. Or get them all; at $2.99/set, it’s hardly going to break the bank.

  1. Thank you! We are getting a family Kindle Fire from Santa, and the younger girl was short on content.

Also, my mom just bought the younger girl’s 2013 Christmas gift thanks to the American Girl special. You are priceless, Mir.

  2. I apologize if this is a ridiculous question… But if my daughter isn’t opening her new kindle fire until Christmas how/when do I download these? I can just envision buying them today and then finding out I only had 48 hours to download them. How does that work?

  3. That’s a good question, Sonia, and I can’t even test this for you because I have devices registered with Amazon (so when I go to buy something, it asks me whether I want to send it to my Kindle, my phone, or my son’s tablet). I think if you try to buy it may prompt you to register a device. Certainly you will not have some period of time in which the books will expire (if you pay, they’re yours), but it may want you to tell it a device in order to complete the transaction. There’s also the “Amazon Cloud Reader” (which basically means it stores it for you, and that may be something you can use until you register her Kindle, and then transfer those titles to her after that).

Alternatively, I know you can “give as a gift” and then it will simply prompt you for another email address, but then that email address will need to register an Amazon account, and maybe you don’t want your child having a separate account.

Can you go ahead and register the new Fire to your account? You can always wrap it back up again!

  4. Thanks for the ideas, Mir. I may try to tackle this after kids’ bedtimes tonight! I hate to pass up this deal, my daughter loves this series…. I just want to make sure they get to her device without a glitch. Thank you! If no one has told you this today, you’re good at what you do!

  5. You’re pretty, Sonia! 🙂 I looked at it some more and you definitely have the option to save books to a USB device and transfer them to a device that way, so buying them now should not be a problem (whether you register her Kindle yet or not). Just a reminder—Amazon changes prices all the time, so if you really want the book deals, I might not wait until tonight. Who knows when they’ll jack the price back up.

  6. mir, you are GORGEOUS today. thank you!

  7. I think you can register multiple kindle accounts under one person, right? So you can have books for you, and a list for your daughter, separated but available for download?
