Please NO scented items for teacher gifts! Many people are sensitive to scented items or simply don’t like them.
Eh, with all due respect, if you start doing the “don’t buy this item” thing, the list that includes items that don’t work for everyone includes… everything. One of the things I really like about BBW is that they have a liberal exchange/return policy (and not everything they sell is heavily scented, though admittedly most of their items are).
In a perfect world, you always know your recipient well enough to know if you’re getting something they’ll love. In the real world, sometimes you need a somewhat more generic gift. While I agree that this isn’t perfect, saying “no scented items” is a little extreme, IMHO.
Have to chime in to say that B&BW’s generous exchange policy means that any recipient can exchange the item for something else that they can then re-gift to someone else. My Mom does this ALL the time (she gets a lot of this stuff, and just can’t get through all of it herself), and it works out beautifully.
Ahhh, darn…was all excited to head over to BBW to do some shopping, and realized that this post was for yesterday. Will catch it next time, hopefully.
