Double the contests, double the fun

I promised you more contest goodness and I would not lie to you, pretty ones. You know how I love giving things away.

In fact, I love it so much, I’ve been extending my giftiness (totally a word) to other places in the blogosphere. Oh yes. Why, I recently insisted that one of my employers give some stuff away because I am all about sharing the love! And free stuff! So you have all week to go visit me over at Ty’s Toy Box and leave a comment for a chance to win one of five exclusive Noddy and Mr. Men/Little Miss prize packs. C’mon, you know you want to.

Also, I’ll of course be giving away something right here. Meet Alice of In a Blue Room, brought to you by author Jim Averbeck and illustrator Tricia Tusa. Alice can only sleep in a blue room, which is potentially bad news for her parents, I suppose, but excellent news for those of us who love a beautifully illustrated children’s book. The publisher’s recommendation is for ages 4-8, but I’m going to say it’s really best for more like 2-6. Regardless, it’s a gorgeous book and a sweet story, and I have a hardcover copy sitting right here on my desk, hoping to go to a home with little kids (“This is a nice book,” commented my daughter, “for babies,” she concluded, lest I somehow damage her tween cred because she’d expressed anything other than disdain, at first.)

For a chance to win this copy of In a Blue Room, you know what to do: leave a comment on this post by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26th, 2008. One comment per person, please. Winner to be determined by random drawing and how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

Go!
