You may remember that about a month ago, I told you all about Amazon’s new Amazon Mom program, open to anyone who is a primary caretaker of a child. Among its other benefits, members receive three free months of Prime membership right off the bat (with the potential to earn up to an entire year—see my original post for details).
Anyway, when I first brought it up, I point out that three months of Prime would not, at that time, adequately cover you for the holidays and the inevitable after-holiday markdowns. For that reason, I advised waiting to sign up if you thought you’d only get the initial three months.
But if you sign up today, three months of Prime takes you through January 4th, 2011. And I don’t know about you, but I find the holiday season much more enjoyable with free 2-day shipping on nearly everything. Fa la la la la!
