If you’re not reading Parent Hacks, why not? So many fabulous ideas are posted there, and this post had me declaring out loud to my monitor, “Dude! That is so cool!”

Here’s the deal: Don’t you wish there was a way to just browse through the for-sale photos on Craigslist? Well now there is! Listpic gives you a visual browser of items for sale. That particular link goes to the San Francisco Bay Area, but navigate as you normally would on CL (choose an area to the right, there) to find your area, enter the item for which you’re searching, and then browse away.

Awesometastic.

  1. I love, love, LOVE listpic. I don’t contact the seller if they don’t have a pic anyway, so this is great!!!

  2. um, this also makes it easier to view all the naked photos in the personals ads. What are these people thinking? Is it just my area, or do these people go crazy with the nude pics, even in the rant and rave category? If you are going to post a picture of yourself, why do it in a web site geared toward the area where you live? Do you actually want people to stop you in the local Wal-Mart and say, “hey, I saw you naked on craigslist”? (err, the question mark goes outside the quotes in this instance, right? It’s too close to time to go home for me to stop and check.)

  3. Glad you like listpic and it helps you. I hope it saves you a bunch of money, like it has for me. Thank you for blogging about listpic.

  5. ha! so, i had to go look at the personals pics. not only is this a great idea for weeding through apartment/want ads with no pics, it will be a giggly cure for boredom at the workplace. 😛
