I can’t help you with the popcorn, though

Do you go to the movie theater a lot? Do you have a large family? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you may want to check out buying tickets in bulk at reduced pricing. Pay attention to the terms and conditions, and make sure you have an applicable theater near you (my closest theater isn’t one of the chains they list), but it may save you some money if you were going to hit the movies, anyway.

(Psssst… bring your own candy, too.)

  1. Wow, Mir, you are soooo pretty.
I love this… and really, you don’t have to go all that often. The minimum number of tickets is eight, which for most is what? two movies? I bought for a couple of theaters to give as gifts.
    Thanks so much!!

  2. Thanks for the reminder. We bought a bunch for Christmas gifts this year. The price has gone up a bit but it is still cheaper than paying the price at the box office.

  3. Bring your own candy…you are so naughty girl! I thought we were the only ones that did that. HA! We always try to be so sneaky. Then guilt sets in….What am I teaching my kids?

  4. I don’t usually gush over deals, but $6.50 a ticket (for Regal here, with restrictions, like we’d ever get our act together to get there in the first 10 days anyways) is so awesome for my family of 7. I’ve been trying to figure out how we can swing tickets for Shrek the 3rd and Pirates and the zillion other movies that are coming out this summer. THANK YOU!!!

  5. Just wanted to point out that we’ve been able to pick up AMC Gold passes for 7.50 (2 for $15) at our local Costco. We bought a few to get us through this summer hoard of movies.

  6. When I was a kid my mom got busted once for bringing in our own candy. She didn’t realize they were touchy about that. Afterwards she would smuggle it in her purse.
