Time to give you some contest winners. Naturally, I think you’re all winners, but a chance to make you more winning is always fun for me.
First, our winner of the weekend contest for a box of Align is commenter 121, Kelly. Congratulations, Kelly! Please check your email! Kelly will be receiving a one-month supply of Align probiotics and will hopefully be on her way to a happier tummy.
Second, it’s time to pick the July winner of a $250 swag tote from GoodNites. In case you haven’t been paying attention, not only is GoodNites running a big contest for a $2500 room makeover on their site, the contest here at Want Not can be entered every single day for a chance to win a huge tote of swag. (See my original post for rules and details.)
Anyway: July’s winner. The random number generator picked… comment 367, Monique! I notice that Monique has been taking advantage of her ability to enter again and again, and now it’s paid off, because she’ll be receiving $250 worth of goodies. Congratulations, Monique! Please check your email! Monique’s winning entry was so sweet; she says:
I’ve posted about how I love to nurse my son. But I love the whole routine. Another of my favorite parts of the routine is when I read to him. I LOVE to read. I can’t stress this enough about how MUCH I LOVE TO READ!!! So, I love reading to my son. I love the way his little face lights up when he sees me pull out a book for bedtime. I love the way he snuggles up to me and gets himself comfortable to listen. I love how absorbed he gets in the pictures. I love how he turns the pages himself. I love how he looks up at me every once in awhile and smiles his pleasure at me esp at the end as if to say “Great story Mom!” I love that. I love bedtime. I love my baby boy.
We are now onto the third round of the GoodNites contest, only this round ends on August 7th, 2009 (that’s this Friday). It’s your last chance to win a swag tote from me, and also the last few days for me to garner the most blogger entries and possibly win $1,000 worth of books for donation to my community library’s outreach. Please keep entering (daily!) and help me win those books for kids in my area!
Thanks, as always, for those who take the time to play, and to our sponsors for the donated prizes. Later today I’m going to have a huge contest you won’t want to miss, so don’t forget to check back.
I love the story, and I remember that feeling well. (Miss it, too – cherish it while it lasts!)
