  4. Pecans and or granola. Seems like yogurt would be a good option, I’m just not a huge fan. Unless it’s frozen… 🙂

  6. Pistachios. Although I am not sure if they are protein packed…but they are yummy. Also brownies are yummy, I hear.

  9. Almonds are my go to…and I have been known to get into my son’s Cliff bar stash– so I am not rowing daily for 3 hours like he is… I can dream I’m an athlete!

  10. apple slices and peanut butter! tho, i’m a big fan of edamame, too… i just don’t have it in the house often. not sure why.

  11. Ditto on the nuts, especially almonds. Blue Diamond makes some really tasty flavored ones that don’t have many more calories than plain. The vanilla ones satisfy my sweet tooth. But Oikos Greek yogurt (made by Stonyfield) is my favorite indulgence lately. The 5 oz cups have 120 calories and a whopping 13 grams of protein. And they’re super-creamy, so they feel decadent which is important when you’re feeling deprived. The honey flavor is my favorite.

    I like Oikos the best, and Chobani.

  14. I second the greek yogurt…I like Voskos, vanilla bean & honey, strawberry, blueberry…13-15g protein for 120-130 calories!

  15. Beef jerky is the best snack for that sort of thing. If that’s too much meat for you the next best thing is cottage chesse with fruit.

  16. p.s. Make sure you check the salt on the type of beef jerky. You want a low-sodium kind.
