Um, is it just me, or is anyone else baffled by the much-anticipated release of… the black Wii console?
Is that supposed to make it… cooler? More aerodynamic? More serious? Oh, wait—I know! It’s slimming.

Yes, I just went over and read the whole Malibu Stacy’s new hat story. This episode must have happened after our kids were old enough to pay attention to tv and therefore we stopped watching the Simpsons. My life is lame. And, I am trying to avoid having to go down and clean out my basement.
Hmmm… I have the son who sold us his white MacBook when the black one came out. Perhaps the same thing will happen with his Wii…
I did pick up a black nunchuk and a black steering wheel on crazy Amazon clearance a few weeks ago — that way, my little kids know who had which and Mama can avoid having her head explode. The console, though? I don’t get it.
We’ve been contemplating a Wii, and while a black one would be cool, many of the accessories would still be white – and that is something my OCD husband could not take.
