Winner of the Calafant contest

Last week I offered up a chance for one lucky Want Not reader to win a Calafant cardboard dollhouse or pirate fortress from Creative Toyshop. Hundreds of you saw how cool it would be to have a plaything that can be assembled, decorated, played with, and ultimately recycled if the kids lost interest. Super cool, right?

Well, the random number generator has spoken, and our winner is… commenter number 29, Tony. Congratulations, Tony—please check your email! Tony will be receiving the pirate fortress from Creative Toyshop, landlubbers.

Didn’t win, but think you may just need to go buy one, anyway? The generosity of our sponsors knows no bounds; through the end of June, go shop any and all of the cardboard toys at Creative Toyshop and you can use coupon code WANTNOT for 25% off your purchase! (I am not an affiliate with them or anything.) So big thanks going out to them for both donating the prize and also extending the coupon to everyone.

And you just never know when another contest will be coming along, too, so stick around.

  1. Thanks for the deal! I can’t seem to find the shipping costs… I got all the way through to the last page of payment and it gave me the option to select my shipping method, but did not list costs. Can anyone help me?

  2. Bummer, no one else tried out this deal?! I think these are really cute.

  3. Okay, I just went through the process again, and it does tell you the shipping right at the very end. It just seems like it is going to place your order, but it takes you to one finally page first. Shipping was $6.50 on a $7.99 item. Just wasn’t worth it for me. I’ll have to keep an eye out for a free shipping code at some point and just pay full price, that would be a much better deal. Thanks anyway!
