Les Mess, more fun

I spent most of today cleaning, which I probably wouldn’t have had to do if 1) my children weren’t such pigs (I say that with love, you understand) and 2) if I was better about getting them to pitch in on regular tidying around the house. This probably sounds very familiar to other parents out there, right?

What if a card game could get your kids more invested in keeping the house clean? It sounds too good to be true, but Les Mess swears their organizing card game can do just that! Kids ages 5-12 can pull a card to be assigned a task and a time limit. If the task is completed before time is up, they get a prize (that part’s up to the parent, but my children would be after cold, hard cash). Less arguing, less stress, and—ultimately—less mess. Sounds good to me.

Want to win your very own Les Mess card game? I’m giving one away! Just go review the contest rules and regulations, then come on back here and leave a comment on this post by 8:00 a.m. Eastern (that’s 5:00 a.m. Pacific) on Monday, June 28th, 2010 for a chance to win. I’ll choose a winner via random number generation and crispness of your hospital corners. (Now there’s a mental image for you, me skulking around people’s houses… “I’m in ur bedroom, grading ur sheetz!”)

Ready? Go!
