I like sunny-side-up, and then to soak my buttered toast in the runny yolk. But I only eat it at home, not in public, because I figure a lot of people might be ooked out by my barbarianism.
Oh, please! Yesterday a shelf fell in our kitchen and wiped out my range!
Over easy w/ the white not runny but the yolk runny. We called them “dip eggs” as kids because you dipped your toast/roll in the yolk. I am entered!
Mmm, I really like my eggs all kinds of ways! Scrambled with seasoned salt and cheese or
fried with a runny yolk for dipping, it makes me no never mind! I just love eggs!
Now I’m going to go and enter the contest.
Over easy is my standard as well, but I save it for restaurants because everyone else at home always wants scrambled. I suppose dipping my buttery toast in the yolk is gross, but I learned to like that when I was too young to know better!
I like all kinds of eggs. As a kid I once ordered “bloody eggs” at a restaurant…only to find out the correct term was over easy!! My kids liked them that way too–of course if I called them “bloody eggs” they wouldn’t eat them. SO, we called them “dunker-toast”eggs.
I like my eggs Benedicted (is too a word – at least in my household), but only if someone else is doing the work. If I’m cooking, then scrambled.
