and she wants her necklace back.

(It’s not just me, right? That’s both creepy and totally looks like a giant, deformed human molar?)

  1. It’s not just you.

  2. Mir,

Maybe this will give you a chuckle on a hard day.

When I had my wisdom teeth out, my dentist at the time (very important clue), asked after he had administered the Vicodin if I had plans for my soon-to-be removed teeth. I mumbled/drooled “no.” He then said that he wanted them…. for his business. What business, you ask? Making them into cuff links and necklaces.

    He got my teeth.

    I got a new dentist.

  3. Oh dear lord. WHY DID I CLICK THE LINK???

  4. That’s horrifying. Thanks for sharing. Um, I think.

  5. In a word…ewwww.

  6. Yes, it does. There is no way you could pay me enough to wear that! 🙂

  7. Oh my! Maybe that’s why it’s only five bucks…

  8. It does! Ewwwwww. Even for $5 I wouldn’t buy it.

  9. Ummm yes that is fairly awful.

  10. That looks like the perfect Yankee Swap/White Elephant gift for the holidays. It’s too bad that if I bought it now, I would have no idea where it is come December.

  11. what. the. f*ck. That is hideous.

  12. Only $5.49! For that relative you don’t like very much?

  13. so that’s where are my baby teeth went. I wondered….

  14. Made me nearly send ice tea through my nose! Hysterical!!

  15. I have my son’s baby teeth in my jewelry box. This is incentive enough to NOT make them into jewelry!

  16. Very strange!

  17. To expose where I am in my life journey, my first reaction was an internal “Oh, but my daughter loves the “tooth necklace” at school! Maybe we can have one at home!” Before you freak out – she’s in Kindergarten, and the tooth necklace is what the kids get if their tooth falls out at school so it will make it safely home. It’s a plastic locket thing. That thing in the link on the other hand…shudder.

  18. Geez, they could have picked one that was less severely deformed for their photoshoot!

Though Mandy’s comment puts me in mind of an episode of “Oddities” where an artist had made intricate carvings out of human teeth that were actually kinda . . cool. Maybe we can put hubby’s old wisdom teeth to good use!
