This contest post will stay at the top of the page from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Monday, November 21st, 2016. Read on to find out about today’s prizes and enter to win!
Gooooooood morning! It’s time for my very favorite week of the year. This is when I get to play Santa all week, having spent the previous months responding to every “Hey, doesn’t our product sound neat?” pitch email which did sound neat with, “Yes, that sounds amazing, please let me give that to my readers.” If you’re new to Big Prize Week, let’s just say you’re probably not going to want to miss it.
First up: Meet MiO, Manhattan Toy’s Waldorf-flavored (okay, do not take that literally, also please don’t eat the toys) blocks-meets-dollhouse line. These are wooden figures and modules which can be reconfigured, joined together, and played with for hours on end. It’s not hard to see why MiO was crowned the 2016 Creative Child Magazine Toy of the Year for open-ended play! For this giveaway, the winner can specify which MiO set they’d like to receive from any of the ones available except the giant 42-piece one. (So, any item on that page I’m linking to other than the very first option.) MiO is suitable for children ages 3+.
Next: Allow me to introduce you to Lux Blox, a new building toy designed to be as flexible as nature. It’s sort of like K’NEX and LEGO had a baby. Not only do they feature a patented hinge, Lux Blox are made right here in the USA. For this giveaway, I have a 200-piece Medium Lux Set for one lucky reader, and it’s suitable for builders ages 6+.
Want to win one of ’em? Of course you do! First, go review the contest rules and regulations, then come on back here and leave a comment on this post today (Monday, November 21st, 2016) by 8:00 pm Eastern (that’s 5:00 pm Pacific) specifying which prize you’d like to win for a chance to win it. The winners will be pulled (using my fancy contest plugin winner-picking thingie) and announced tonight (although, fair warning, quite late, because I’ll be spending the evening watching my college kid perform at school and then driving her back to town for the break), because tomorrow will be another chance to win something awesome.
