Alrighty! It’s contest time again. Why? Because I love you, that’s why. I care.
Also, because I have this DVD to give away.
So here’s how you can win the new Curious George DVD, right here at Want Not:
Leave a comment on this post. I will allow my own little monkey-child to draw a name to select the winner, and I will do that by writing down everyone’s names on little slips of paper and putting them into a hat or a bag or something. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment, any comment, on this post (with a valid email address).
Here’s the twist: Leave a random comment, your name gets entered into the drawing once. Leave me a quick Curious George-esque plot summary that makes me chuckle, and your name gets entered into the drawing twice.
What do I mean by Curious George-esque? Anyone familiar with George knows that every storybook about him goes like this:
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but by accident he [insert horrible string of catastrophes here]. Oh no! Everyone was very mad at George! George cried and cried. The man in the yellow hat came back and said “OH NO!” But then [insert some small good that came out of the mess]. So [insert whoever is in charge] said, “I guess it’s all okay, George!”
And everyone was happy! The end.
So. Just leave a comment for an entry, or make up a good George storyline that follows the formula for two entries.
Entries will be accepted on this post from now until midnight (eastern time) on Saturday, October 7th. The winner will be drawn on Sunday and announced on Monday, October 9th. Go!
[This contest is listed at competizione.]
Well, I’m leaving my comment now, but will be thinking of a story to post later. I’m not sure I’ll be creative enough, so at least I’ll get one chance this way.
Thanks, Mir!
This is George. He lives with a stay-at-home mom named Andrea who liked to wear yellow shirts. George was by nature a curious and impulsive little monkey.
One day Andrea found out that George had gone out and paid retail for a new yellow shirt. “OH NO, George! Why, oh why did you do that? Do you not know the wise ways of WantNot?” George shook his head, looking confused. So, Andrea took him to the computer and showed him the awesome, money-saving ideas of the gorgeous Mir.
From that day forward, after eating his morning banana, George got online and faithfully checked http://www.wantnot.net. What a wonderful world.
The End
Meet George. Daughter Judy. Jane, his wife.
oh, my bad. wrong plot.
This is George. George is old-skool. He lives with the man with the big yellow sombrero-like hat. George was a good little monkey (not the kind to throw poop!), but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow somebrero-like hat had to go out and do something not fit for a monkeys’ eyes. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but by accident, while getting some bananas from the fridge, he knocked a bag of cappuccino mix into the container of whipped cream (which happened to be open, because George like whip cream with his bananas). Oh no! What was he going to do?! George cried and cried. The man in the yellow hat came back, looked in the fridge for some whip cream for the strawberry shortcake he’d brought home as a surprise, and saw it was full of cappuccino mix. “OH NO!†The man in the yellow hat set the container on the counter, bound for the trash. George dipped his banana in it, because he’s curious, and it was surprisingly good!! He smiled, and the man in the yellow hat noticed. The man in the yellow hat had an idea!! He sliced two bananas, scooped some of the whip cream into the shortcakes, and put the bananas on top. This was even better than they expected! They made strawberry milkshakes to go with this new creation, and they were happy. And they both fell into sugar comas for the next 2 hours. The end.
Not feeling very creative this morning…but still love Curious George!
hmmmm, will think up a story for later, okay?
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good, and to stay away from dogs.
George tried to be good, but by accident he had his poor little stuffed head ripped off by Sasha, the australian shepard. Oh no! Everyone was very sad. Lynnea cried and cried about her George. The man in the yellow hat came back and said “OH NO!†But then Aunt Trish found a brand new George. So Mom said, “I guess it’s all okay, George!â€
And everyone was happy! The end.
When I’m told to be creative, I spend hours and hours trying to get a perfect story. Since I can’t do that right now, this will suffice. Thanks WantNot!
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but also very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat left his laptop logged on while he ran out for a latte. The man had told George to stay away from his computer, but good little monkeys sometimes forget.
First, George found some books about monkeys on amazon.com. Click! He ordered them all! Uh-oh.
Then, he bid on a bushel of bananas on eBay. He just typed in a 1 and lots and lots of 0s. And he won! Yeah!
Then, a message popped up on the screen. It was a man named “Foley” and he was wondering what George was wearing. George (who knew that good little monkeys could read?) thought this was odd, but he started typing in N-O-T-H-I-N …
Just then, the man with the yellow hat came home. He saw what George was doing and quickly closed the notebook.
No more computers for George.
This is really dumb but my entry is a curious George Haiku:
Silly little chimp
Did you eat the yellow hat?
Bad indigestion
How shall we address
The man with no yellow hat?
What is his real name?
Shall he be called Bob,
Sam, Bill, Francis or Leslie?
Jim, Fred, or Aaron?
How about the “Man
formerly known as the Man
in the Yellow Hat?”
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your blog.
I also appreciate the chance to win the DVD!
Thinking,thinking, nothing yet. 🙂
Thanks for always hooking us up with some great deals!! I love your site!
You’re pretty! And I am not awake enough to write a Curious George-esque comment. Does bribery work? teehee!
This is George. He was stolen from Africa by the man with the yellow hat, but we won’t mention these disturbing parallels to the colonial slave trade because this isn’t that kind of a story. George tried to be a good little monkey, but always got very confused. After all, he had no tail — that meant that he was really an ape, but the man with the yellow hat told him that he was a monkey. In fact, the man with the yellow hat told George that he was an EXPERT on monkeys and did not appreciate any backtalk from recent African immigrants such as himself, so George reluctantly agreed to believe what western scientific models told him about his personal identity even though it didn’t make sense. The man in the yellow hat made all the rules — don’t call this number, don’t pet that bunny, don’t fly that kite. He was a control freak and tried to keep George locked up in his room. No wonder George felt a little crazy. Once or twice, he tried to end it all. Remember when he jumped ship? The man covered it up by saying that George was trying to learn to fly. But oh, what happened? First this (splash), then this (glug glug glug). Some sailors pulled him out. George cried and cried, but he learned to behave himself after that.
Living with the man, wearing his extra pajamas, living the life of a kept “monkey” — it wasn’t long before George bored of the tedium. He was feeling more than curious; he was feeling downright peculiar. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something; naturally he didn’t take George. George felt that the man was ashamed of their relationship. George was humiliated. Before the man left, he had the nerve to tell George to be good.
Oh, George planned to be good. Very good. To the entire fire department. He took a handful of pills and made a call. All the fire trucks came in a hurry. CLANG CLANG CLANG. The firemen chased him around the desk but finally he was led away by a fat fireman and a thin fireman. They took George to a psychiatric holding cell for observation, but he managed to get away and ran outside buck naked hallucinating that he was flying over the city holding onto a fistful of rainbow-colored balloons. The man with the yellow hat finally found him down the street clinging to a lamppost in the East Village. The man gently placed a coat around George’s shoulders, led him to the big yellow car, and they had an awkard ride ….to a SANITARIUM upstate that specializes in these sorts of cases. The man visits him sometimes on the weekend, no one there calls George a monkey, and he’s got a real nice friend that he calls Chief. They plan to go for a boat ride soon.
It’s far too early to be creative enough to come up with a story, but here’s my comment! If I tell you how pretty you are, will that earn me a 2nd entry? Heh. Love the site Mir, keep it up!
Love your blog! Hoping for Curious George….
Well, my comment is that you are very smart and of course, quite lovely! 🙂 (Now, that is better than a story and should count for 2 entries, don’t ya think?!)
Once, there was a monkey named George. He decided to run for president. However, he made lots of trouble. Bad monkey! The Collective Will of the People, represented symbolically by the Man in the Yellow Hat, said “Oh No!” However, some good came out of it though, because eventually George had to finish his term in office. A new president could be elected. Some people liked this new president, and some people hated the new president, but that’s how it goes. George spent the rest of his days writing his memoirs and giving graduation speeches, and stayed out of politics, and everyone was much happier. The end.
This is George. He is pretty, as monkeys go. He lives with the man with the pretty yellow hat. The man is also pretty, for a man. George was a pretty good little monkey, but always pretty curious. One day, the pretty man with the pretty yellow hat had to go out and do something pretty quickly. Before he left he told George to be pretty good.
George tried pretty hard to be pretty good, but by accident he forgot to tell Mir she was pretty! Oh no! Everyone was pretty mad at George! George cried and cried pretty hard. The pretty man in the pretty yellow hat came back and said “OH NO!†But then pretty Mir saw that George was pretty upset. So Mir said, “I guess it’s all pretty okay, George! You can tell me I’m pretty every day for a pretty long while, and it will make up for you being pretty forgetful.â€
And everyone was pretty happy! The end.
I’m supposed to be working, so I’ll get creative later. Thanks, Mir!
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George not to spend hours on the computer.
George tried to be good, but by accident he stumbled upon a website that doubled his chances at a free DVD if he would only compose a witty and creative short story. George TRIED to just enter a simple comment, but found himself unable to do so. He wrote a quick story, but before he knew it he was checking blogs and e-mail, and clicking on many intriguing links. Hours slipped by. George looked up at the clock and realized what he had done. He cried and cried. The man in the yellow hat came back and said “OH NO!†But then, the UPS delivery truck squealed to a halt outside the door, and the man in the yellow hat lost his train of thought. The doorbell rang! It was a free DVD! So the man with the yellow hat was very happy indeed, and said, “I guess it’s all okay, George!â€
This is George. He lives with the woman with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. The woman with the yellow hat works from home. She asked George to please be very, very good and quiet because she had a lot of writing to do.
George tried to be good, but by accident he managed to knock the fish bowl from the woman’s desk, and it short-circuited her laptop, and electrocuted the fish. Oh no! Everyone was very mad at George! George cried and cried. The woman in the yellow hat said “OH NO!†and some other things we can’t print in a children’s story. But then the woman in the yellow hat received a phone call. Her novel was to be published, she was getting a $150,000 advance, and with that she could buy an even better laptop, not to mention a new bed! So the woman in the yellow hat said, “I guess it’s all okay, George! You were lucky this time, and I didn’t have to turn you into monkey nuggets to serve for dinner.â€
And everyone was happy! The end.
I am soooo not creative this mornign but I do love monkeys.
No creativity in me today. So consider this my sad little entry.
Oh my god the FUNNIEST people read Want Not!
I totally cannot compete with that.
This is George. He came from the jungle, but now lives in the big city with a strange man who wears yellow all over — yet is somehow only known for his horrid yellow hat.
One day, the man with said yellow hat had to go out for coffee (hey, what else would drive you out of the house leaving a monkey behind). As he left he told George to be very, very good — stay out of trouble and all that.
George pinky swears to be good. After some time, George gets bored and bounces a ball up against the wall in the apartment. The ball gets away from him and hits the yellow hat dude’s computer. Geroge begins to type. He likes pounding on the keys (since he can’t read yet) and hopes to somehow write Hamlet 😉 Ok, so, anyway, George happens to be IMing with some random person. He arranges to meet this person at the apartment.
However, the person turns out to be a derranged monkey killer and comes to the apartment to kill poor George. Just as the apartment is torn from together as George is trying to escape this fate. The Man with the Yellow Hat walks back in with his half-caf, double caf, triple shot latte. He stops the murder and calls the police.
Come to find out, George has uncovered the long feared Monkey Killer and the whole big city is safe now. The Man says, I’m glad you’re OK, George. It’s Ok.”
Everyone is happy.
(Yes, I watch too much Law & Order, why?)
This is Georgette. She lives with a woman that would never be caught dead in a yellow hat. Georgette was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the woman that would never wear a yellow hat had to turn her back for two minutes to make supper. She begged Georgette to be a very good little monkey.
Georgette tried to be good, but by accident she had removed all 200 tissues from the tissue box and ripped them into tiny little shreds. To try and clean it up, Georgette poured bubbles over the entire pile, thinking it would wash away the mess. Oh no! Everyone was very mad at Georgette. Georgette laughed and laughed. The woman that would never wear a yellow hat turned around and found the mess and said “Oh No.” But then, they noticed the windows needed cleaning anyways, so they used the soapy tissues to wash all the windows. So, the woman that would never wear a yellow hat said, “I guess it’s all ok, Georgette.”
The End
Seriously, your commenters are really funny. Unfortunately, I am not. Thanks for the giggle!
I love reading your blog because you can write like I can’t. we would love to enter, thanks
I am lame in the ways or creativity, but maybe I’ll come up with something. But at least I can enter this way. My little man loves Curious George.
I love Curious George. I found a stack of vintage CG books at the thrift store the other day – they were in great shape!
And I love bee-yoo-tiful Mir!
I really love your website. You give wonderful advice! Thanks!
I love your website and have ordered lots of cool FREE things! My son would love this DVD. Thanks!
I *swear* I haven’t read any of the other comments so if this repeats, please forgive:
The Boy was a funny and curious little boy who always tired to be good, but often got into trouble. One day is Mommy told him, “Honey, we need to clean the house! Nanny is coming in a month and since Nanny is the clean nazi, we have to start now. Please be a good boy while Mommy washes windows.”
Now the Boy just wanted to help his mommy so that they could get the house clean and he and Mommy could go have fun at the park. While Mommy cleaned windows and window tracks and blinds, the Boy followed her with the bucket of cleaning supplies. He also sprayed every surface in the entire house with Windex. “Oh, no!” cried Mommy. “Well, at least everything smells lemony fresh!” Mommy hugged the Boy tightly and they both decided their time was better spend a the park and they didn’t care what Cleaning Nazi Nanny thought ever again.
This is Jeana. She lives in a house with four kids and no yellow hats. Her kids are very good, but very curious. Her husband leaves to go to work every day and says, “Jeana, be good!” but really he means, “Jeana, don’t order a bunch of stuff on the computer and spend way too much money.”
One day Jeana discovered Mir. Mir is very good, but very frugal. Lots of boxes starting showing up on Jeana’s porch. Her husband said, “Oh no!” But then Jeana explained that they were all deals she had found through Mir. The Christmas shopping was almost finished in October, and lots of the stuff was free. So Jeana’s husband said, “That’s okay, Jeana!”
Now Jeana is saving so much money she can afford yellow hats for everyone. But she doesn’t. Because yellow’s not her color.
The only problem now? Jeana always wants to ask Mir a question so she can open it up by saying, “I get you, my pretty! And your little blog too!” but she can never think of a good question to ask and also she thinks maybe someone else already thought of saying that. But that’s another episode.
Once there was a man with yellow hat who liked to play with his monkey whom he called George. One day he went to movie theater to play with George, but the policemen came and told him he could only play with George at home. The policemen took the man to jail where they booked him under the name Paul Reubens. The end.
This is *George*. George lives with the lady in the yellow house. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day the lady in the yellow house had to nurse her baby. She told George to entertain himself for a little while and left him to his own devices. After a little while, George came into the room where the lady in the yellow house was nursing her baby. He was covered from head to toe in PURPLE INK!! “What did you do, George?” they lady in the yellow house screeched. “I painted”, George replied. The lady in the yellow house put down the baby and ran to the kitchen and family room where George had been playing. “OH NO, George!! BAD MONKEY!!” George had been a busy little monkey, indeed. He had found a purple ink pad that had been buried deeply inside a drawer and proceeded to “paint” the (ugly and old and in need of replacement spawn of satan)white floor, the white cabinets, the yellow walls in the family room and the NEW brown leather furniture. Fortunately for George, the lady in the yellow house was able to use a Magic Eraser and clean the floor and cabinets. She was not however able to remove the purple ink from the walls or furniture and tried in vain with many different products while wailing all the while:”I can never have anything nice! I try to keep nice things and all my monkeys do is destroy them. Oh woe is me!”
The lady in the yellow house was regaling her friends with her unfortunate tale and stated how she was ready to leave George on the curb with the recycling. One of her friends who thinks George is a pretty cool little monkey and didn’t want to see George recycled, took pity upon the lady in the yellow house and offered her his services. (PAINTING services, you pervs!!) This friend actually enjoys painting–something the lady in the yellow hat doesn’t understand–and undertook the work. Soon, the walls were again a “mellow ivory”, the floors and cabinets were clean and new pillows were placed on the couch to cover the stain. The lady in the yellow house called George over to sit on her lap and said, “It’s all OK and I love you George, but you will never pick up another art or craft product until you are thirty and living on your own.”
Oh my…can’t top the Pee Wee Herman one on no caffeine! 😉
*The preceeding was a true story and names have been changed to protect the guilty.
“Oh, George. You do like your primary colors.”
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but by accident he went joyriding and ran over a pedestrian. Oh no! Everyone was very mad at George! George cried and cried. The man in the yellow hat came back and said “OH NO!†But then discovered that the pedestrian was puppy kicking jay walker. So the police officer said, “I guess it’s all okay, George!â€
And everyone was happy! The end.
I did this entry with my daughter (4). I think she was a little unclear on the concept but it came out okay anyway.
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but by accident he went over to a cupcake and then ate the cupcake. And he forgot what the man with the Yellow Hat had said and he left that room and went to another one. He noticed a test and went over to it and listened to it for a while and then went to another room. He loved jumpy things and there was a jumpy thing in there so he went on that.
Oh no! Everyone was very mad at George! George cried and cried. The man in the yellow hat came back and said “OH NO!†But then man in the Yellow hat went past all the doors George had went past and saw him crying. And once George saw him they went home together. So the Man in the Yellow Hat said, “I guess it’s all okay, George!â€
And everyone was happy! The end
Very funny entries!!!! I am not that creative on a moments notice but i would love to win the movie for my DS!!! Thanks for the chance!!
Please!!!! enter me in the contest! Thanks 🙂

You’re the best Mir! Oh and you’re sooooooo pretty 🙂
All the comments are hysterical! Sadly, I don’t have the energy to try to write a funny one right now. Good thing you don’t have to try to choose the funniest story because I’m not sure how you would do that!
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but he was tricked when an ice cream truck stopped outside of his house. He dug around in the couch cushions and came up with enough money to buy an ice cream. He ran up to the ice cream truck to by a banana flavored ice cream cone and was monkey-napped by the driver who then sold him to Paris Hilton. The end.
Oh wise Mir!! I am new to wantnot and already a junkie!! Seriously, I must hit the site 20x a day since introduced this past week! Oh that must make me Curious Colleen! Except only good comes from my curiousity! If the deal doesn’t tickle my fancy at least your remarks do! Loving a chance for the new DVD!
I have nothing in terms of curious george entries. For some reason, my sick mind keeps going down dark dark alleyways with this assignment. Poor George is meeting catastophes the like Jack Bauer hasn’t seen. So, rather than scar anyone or win the DVD in a way that makes me ashamed to show it to my children, I will take my chances with one entry.
This is George. He lives with the man in the yellow hat. They both live inside the television as a new transplant to PBS, in a wildly successful mass-saturation programming scheme.
This is the Mom. She lives with the Little Girl Who Loves George. The Mom has seen this type of love before, with her older daughter and Clifford. The Mom remembers when Clifford was new to PBS and the good non-profit-type people there had not caught up to sophisticated cross-promotion selling techniques. She also remembers driving all over town one December to aquire the ONLY Clifford doll in her major metropolitan area as a Christmas present for her daughter. The Mom hopes not to repeat this process for her youngest daughter. She hopes that PBS is better prepared with their merchandising this gift-giving season. Better yet, she hopes to win a DVD this year. That would make everyone happy.
The End.
I love Curious George, but i love wantnot more! thanks!
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but when he saw the computer sitting on the desk, he knew that he could type an email to his mom in Africa. So he hopped up, and typed! and clicked!
But George didn’t know that the Safari window was open, not the Mail window. So George’s typings and clickings landed him at wantnot.net. And George read all about himself, and was exceedingly pleased at the scope and variety of his misdeeds, and the fact that nobody ever, ever disciplined him for his doings. And George decided to try to type a story about himself.
And he won! He won his own DVD about his own life! The same DVD that everyone else was coveting! It somehow arrived the same day, nobody knows how, but it sure worked for the storyline.
And when the man with the yellow hat returned, there was George in the armchair, watching his own DVD!
Oh no! Everyone was very mad at George! George had wrecked the wantnot.net contest by winning the DVD himself! What a terrible thing to do to all those penny-pinchers who wanted their own free copy!
George cried and cried. But then the man with the yellow hat was distracted by cute little George starring on the DVD, and himself as co-star. He stopped scolding George and was transfixed by his own dysfunctional love story as it appeared on their television. Slowly he went to the fridge, got two Cokes, and sat down next to George, and they sat and watched the movie of their own lives, reliving all the glory days of astronauts and soap suds and bicycles – those happy Leave it To Beaver years.
George and the man with the Yellow Hat were both well advanced in years, now, and who knows how much longer they would have together. So they both wept a little as they watched the DVD.
The Man with the Yellow Hat turned to George and said, “I guess it’s all OK, George… just like it always has been for the past 50 years.” And they thanked pretty Mir from the bottoms of their hearts. And George got up to make some microwave popcorn and to start the DVD playing again. And everyone was happy! The end.
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but he was sick and tired of the puke-yellow outfit of the man. Nice man, bad clothes. So, George enters the closet of the man and takes the boxes of Rit dye he has been saving for this very chance. George goes wild (since he is a monkey after all) and dyes the pants to red and purple, the shirts to orange and green, and the hats to a sort of Grateful Dead tie-dye effect. Just then, the man with the yellow hat comes home and says, “Oh no, George! What have you done to my clothes!” Oh no! The man was very mad at George! George cried and cried.
But then the man changed into his clothes of many colors, and he starting feeling snappy! He started dating and finally met the woman of his dreams. After all, it is strange for a full-grown man to wear yellow from head to toe and have only a monkey as his live-in companion. So the new Mr. and Mrs. Man with the Tie-Dye Hat said, “I guess it’s all okay, George!†And then they flew away in a yellow balloon. Wait a minute, that’s Barbar and Celeste.
And everyone was happy! The end.
Yeah, I got nothin’! Pick me, Monkey! Pick me!;)
What a fun contest – will think of a story to post…
This is Piper. She lives with the mommy in the orange shirt. Piper was a good little monkey, but she didn’t like to take naps. One day, the mommy with the orange shirt tried to write a story about a curious little monkey, but Piper wouldn’t go to sleep.
The end.
Here is Mommy. She is a good little Mommy but her children are on vacation from preschool this week so she is a little crazy. Mommy wants to keep her children away from the television set but they are monkey children and always VERY curious. They have seen Curious George on PBS and want to see his movie. Help Mommy occupy her children so they will not be so mischevious.
And I can top the previous entries… Let me think… In the meantime Please put my name in the drawing!
If I win the DVD, oh beautiful Mir, I will celebrate with my grandchildren by eating banana bread and monkey bread and singing Five Little Monkeys.
To the wise and oh-so-pretty Mir, I love love love your site and thank you for all of the deals you pass along. I don’t have the mental bandwidth right now to come up with a story, but the other ones have been great. Here is a question, though:
Why does the man with the yellow hat have no name? Has anyone ever called him by name? Perhaps someday the mystery will be revealed.
Thanks for entering me into the contest!
My daughter is a total little monkey, but my mind is a blank on her misadventures at the moment – maybe I’ll think of a good one by Saturday!
Am waiting on my muse……just a quick comment to at least get my name in the hat.
This is George. He lives with a 2 year old that always wears a yellow shirt. George is a good monkey, but taught the little girl bad things.
At this very moment when the little girl hears or sees a monkey she immediately begins acting and sounding like a monkey. Not a quiet little monkey, but a loud monkey hanging off of door knobs and the washcloth bar in the bathtub.
This little girls mother would be thrilled to win her a Curious George DVD, but at the same time wonders how it could intensify her already monkeyish behavior.
Sign me up! Love Curious George and love your blog!
Carolyn
The man in the yellow hat found a Monkey. The Monkey appeared to be lost. The man in the yellow hat offered to help the Monkey find his way home. “Where do you live, little Monkey,” he asked. “I live with a pretty lady and a Chickadee” answered the Monkey. So the man in the yellow hat helped the Monkey find his way home. The pretty lady was so happy so see Monkey. She thanked the man in the yellow hat for bringing him home. She introduced herself to him and told him he would be quite good-looking if not for that goofy yellow hat. So Otto took off the yellow hat and he and Mir lived happily ever after.
This is George. He lives with Britney Spears. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, Britney Spears had to go out and buy Cheetos. Before she left he told George to be good. Then she put both kids on her lap and drove away.
George tried to be good, but by accident he accidently recorded Popozao. Oh no! He sounded better then Kevin Federline! Kevin was very mad at George! Sean Preston was very mad at George! Sutton Pierce was very mad at George! Even Tom Cruise was very mad at George!
George cried and cried. Britney Spears came back and said “OH NO! We don’t do that! We’re country!†But then Britney and Kevin’s Agent heard the song and decided it was better than Kevin’s version. So Britney said, “I guess it’s all okay, George! You will record more music and we will say it’s Kevin’s!â€
And everyone was happy! The end.
*If we win, Dylan wants you to donate the DVD to a children’s charity of your choice.*
This is Gracie. She lives with the Mom with the bloodshot eyes. The bloodshot eyes come from staying up too late working for The Man over the computer so that she can stay home with Munchkin Gracie during the day.
One day at Grandma’s, when Bloodshot Mom was weary, she dully stared as Gracie crawled behind the PapaChair (also known as a recliner). Not hearing any gunfire or sounds of injury, she let little Gracie play behind there while she read an article in the paper. After all, Gracie was always curious, and how can you keep a crawling baby out of every nook and cranny?
A few minutes later, Bloodshot Mom’s momsensors returned from their hiatus and began broadcasting their alarm. It was still quiet– too quiet. Mom raced over to the recliner and found Curious Gracie quite absorbed in the treasures of the back corner:
A box of Kleenex, shredded to oblivion and partially eaten.
A click-syle eraser, merrily chewed but relatively unharmed.
And worst of all, a petrified dog turd, happily being waved about and doubtless about to be eaten.
Gracie did NOT cry and cry. She grinned, snorted happily through her nose in that weird way she has lately, and held up the turd as if to share it with her guilty, grittyeyed mom. Bloodshot Mom declined her offer, retrieved the munchkin, cleaned up the mess, flushed the rock-hard turd, and wished fervently to expand Gracie’s DVD collection.
The end.
George was a good little…monkey…but was just so curious. One morning while his mother was dutifully tracking down the bargains with WantNot.net, George got busy experimenting with his big sister’s little girl makeup. George was curious indeed. What will happen if I smear all the lip-goo HERE on the wall? Very Pretty. What will happen if I smear the blue creamy eye shadow-goo here on the carpet? LOVELY.
When George’s mother had finished with the bargain hunting she went to look for George, only to discover his masterpiece. She BLEW A GASKET. Then she called the carpet guy. Turns out the carpet guy has some little monkies of his own. Carpet guy cleans carpet practically for free. The makeup all came out and Mama Monkey now has a new carpet cleaner guy (for emergencies, people. I am a child of Mir)… AND she scored on some shoes and free shipping. So it’s all good.
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and get a latte. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but when he was shredding some reciepts he accidentally shredded the yellow hat too! Oh no! The man was going to be very mad at George! George cried and cried. Then he had an idea, he remembered that the pretty Mir had told him how to get a bargain on Yellow hats. They usually had them at Overstock and he had a code for 15% off AND free shipping! The man in the yellow hat came back and said “OH NO!†But then George explained that his new 600 thread count Yellow hat was being shipped from Overstock. So the Man in the Yellow hat said, “I guess it’s all okay, George!†And they happily waited for the UPS truck to arrive. The End.
Just typing this pretty much tests my nursing-and-typing skills, so no long stories for us .. we love monkeys and Curious George dvs’s though!
OH how I wish I had time to read all these or make up one myself! LOL
thanks for the contest! you are so smart and pretty too! 🙂
These entries are all too funny for words, love it! Please enter my name as I’m just not as talented as some of these readers, LOL
I’ve got no great story…but you’re very very pretty!! 🙂
This is George. George is a good little monkey and very curious, but sometimes rather bossy and always very curious. George lives with the Mommy with the 4 inch heels and two older little monkeys. One day The Babysitter with the yellow shoes came over. The bigger monkeys were off learning important things at school, so George was coloring with The Babysitter with the yellow shoes.
Then the Mommy with the 4 inch heels started talking to the Babysitter with the yellow shoes. Because the Mommy with the 4 inch heels and the Babysitter with the yellow shoes were having a very important conversation about last night’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy, they felt no need to pay attention to George, who they thought was busy coloring.
George, a very creative little monkey, felt that the white paper the Mommy with the 4 inch heels had given him to color on was inhibiting his creativity, so he went off to find a better medium for his art.
George looked far and wide for just the right surface to express his deepest thoughts and feelings. He looked under the table. He considered the dog, and the dog’s bed. The glass coffee table seemed like a possibility, so George tested his preferred tool (a lovely shade of yellow made by Crayola) on this surface. Unfortunately, he felt that the color’s intensity couldn’t be fully appreciated on the coffee table. So George kept looking. George was momentarily distracted by a riveting episode of Dora the Explorer on the TV. At this exact moment, the Babysitter with the yellow shoes realized she didn’t know where George was. She was relieved when she saw the little monkey happily watching television and continued her conversation with the Mommy with the 4 inch heels.
At one point during the shoe, however, George became frustrated with the writer of Dora for not appreciating his higher thinking abilities and presenting him with such drivel. Then, George had a stroke of genius! He would express his distaste through art. He created a beautiful masterpiece on the tv screen, utilizing the finest colors Crayola had to offer.
Just then, the Mommy with the 4 inch heels and the Babysitter with the yellow shoes enteres the room and were horrified by what they saw. George cried and cried, his own mother, a brillient designer, didn’t appreciate his art!
Just then, the Daddy with the leather coat came home- and he had brought a guest. “Who’s this?” the Mommy asked. But before the Daddy with the leather coat could answer, his guest replied, “I am the man with the large wallet, I own the Expensive Gallery. I love this piece- how much would you like for it? It would be fantastic in my gallery!” The Mommy with the 4 inch heels was so surprised she couldn’t speak. Fortunately the Daddy with the leather coat was quick on his feet and replied, “How about we trade for that fancy new plasma tv I saw at your place last week?”
“Deal!” said the man with the large wallet.
And they all lived happily ever after (especially since the plasma tv hangs on the wall high above the reach of little monkeys!) and watched lots of episodes of Backyardigans, a show of much higher quality than Dora.
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but curious. He was especially curious about the yellow hat. One night, after tucking George into his little monkey-bed, the man went to sleep. George snuck out of his bed and tried on the man’s beloved yellow hat. The man snored away. George felt something was missing, but what? He knew!People! George wanted to know what it felt like to swagger down the street in a big, yellow hat.Out the door George went. George walked to the nearest bar, from whence he heard people laughing, talking and singing. George went into the bar. Everyone was so glad to see George the Monkey in the yellow hat! They bought him round after round of drinks. Eventually, the bartender yelled,”Last call!” The place emptied out. George was tired. George was tired and drunk! George staggered home, where he realized he had locked himself out. George puked, then passed out in front of the man’s house. The sun came up. The man woke up. He couldn’t find George or his hat! After scouring his home, the man prepared to go looking for George (hatless, yet!). The man opened the front door, found George snoring away and carried him inside. George showered as soon as he woke. The hat, however, had not survived the night.Covered in vomit, the man and George gave the hat a right-proper burial. The man replaced the yellow hat with one he found on sale on-line through Mir’s Want Not discount-alert sight. George never drank again. All was right with the world.
Henry loves the CG so much that I just had to enter.
Gotta be in it to win it, right?
Mir, as much as I want to be witty and creative, I just don’t have it in me as my lil’ monkey is screaming for dinner! So here is my lame entry, though I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all the stories this afternoon. My fav has to be the Pee Wee version! Your readers are almost as fabulous as you are!
Too tired for coherent thought now… so I will take my one entry! Maybe later I can work on a second.
Hello! You’re pretty!
I love your site!
You said a Curious George-esque story so I decided to go for something a little different… It’s a mostly true story… There’s a little wish fulfilment thrown in for good measure. (I’m not telling which part…)
This is Sprout. She’s mama’s little monkey. She sleeps with a soft cuddly stuffed animal named George(who just happens to be a monkey, too). Sprout tries to be good, but, like any self-respecting two-year old, she’s very curious. Sprout is constantly climbing and getting into things that she shouldn’t be touching or disturbing. One day, Sprout pulled all of the papers off of the top of the television set where her daddy had been stacking them to keep them out of her way. Mama and daddy didn’t know that their little miss Sprout could move her rocking motorcycle over to the entertainment center. It never occurred to them that she would climb on top of it to get to the papers. Mama was only going to the bathroom and Sprout was playing happily with her drum machine, what could happen? When mama came back from the bathroom, there were envelopes and bills scattered all over the livingroom floor. Mama didn’t know what daddy’s organization system was so she sorted everything by the date due. As she was going through the papers, mama found 2 rebate checks, one of Sprout’s birthday cards with a check from her grandmother, and a notice from the water company about a meter upgrade that needed to be performed by the end of the week or the family’s water would be shut off. Mama put the checks in envelopes to be deposited, and called the water company averting disaster so Sprout was forgiven for making a mess. Mama also put non-slip strips on the rockers of Sprout’s motorcycle so that she couldn’t push it around the livingroom floor anymore. And so the family was very happy until it was time for Sprout’s next adventure.
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but suddenly he remembered his brother was on death row for killing the Vice President’s brother, and they were going to kill him in 3 weeks, but the VP LIED, because the VP’s brother isn’t dead at all! What a curious thing to have forgotten! So he thought and thought, and planned and planned, and he put his plan in motion…
George robbed a bank, got sentenced to the same prison as his brother, made some new friends, and all his friends decided to break out of prison together (because that’s what friends are for, prison break buddies!), saving George’s brother and finding DB Cooper’s hidden millions in that silly woman’s garage. (And falling in love with the pretty prison doctor, but that’s a story for another season, err, day.)
Oh no! Everyone was very mad at George! The VP is now the President and she didn’t like that the scapegoat, George’s brother, had escaped her evil clutches, and she sent the FBI and her government goons after the prison-break buddies, who’d stopped to frolic in the cemetery while they put on new clothes that George had bought over several successive weeks during pretty Mir’s Overstock coupon days.
But then the FBI junkie, errr, agent in the black suit came and almost caught up with George and his buddies. The plan was falling apart, they were being foiled at every turn, the heat was breathing down their necks. What to do?????? George cried and cried.
The man in the yellow hat called George on his special cell phone and said “OH NO!†What about MY cut of the millions? Did Sucre leave any money for ME?!?!!!!
But then the President came to her senses and said, “Why look, we were all wrong, my brother wasn’t dead, he…he…he was vacationing all this time and accidentally got locked inside his country retreat and so he couldn’t tell anyone about the thugs who stole his teeth and planted them on the corpse in the grave marked “Here lays the Vice President’s brother.” So the warden and the President and the FBI said, “I guess it’s all okay, George!â€
And the show got renewed for another season! The end.
What a fun idea Mir. Love the website!
I LOVE CURIOUS GEORGE BOOKS!!
How could anyone not love Curious George? Great site you’ve got here!
I’m no good at this plot thinggy, so, just leaving my name 😉
This is George. He is a curious little monkey, and he loves math.
George’s mom (wearing her yellow bathrobe) suggested that Geroge join Math Superstars. Because math is fun! Esp. at 7:30 a.m.! In a room full of hyper over-sugared first graders!
Geroge’s mom dragged him out of bed at an ungodly hour, and they were headed off to school. Except…Geroge’s little brother Little Geroge decided that it was the best of times to make a diaper volcano. Oh no!!! Pooey mess everywhere.
Gerorge’s mom muttered some choice words and then said, “Ok, George, help me out here”. George made monkey faces to entertain Little George while mom cleaned him up. Then they headed off to school where George got four shiny stars to fill his constellation. Hooray for Math!
Does that qualify? 🙂
I think I’ll stick with just my name, thanks.
Curious George was my daughter’s first movie-in-the-theater movie. She was terrified at the time but has recently started talking about that curious little monkey nonstop. She’d love the DVD.
Thanks, pretty and talented Mir!
We got CG on Netflix and my husband told my 2 year old that George was her.
Now whenever she sees the movie she says “that’s me!”
She loves that little monkey!
Not feeling creative enough for the double entry today….
This is my little blue car. I drive my little blue car 150km every day. Little blue car was a good little car, but always very sluggish. One day, I had to go out and do something. Before turned the keys I told my little blue car to be good.
My little blue car tried to be good, but by unfortunately it’s transmission lines were full of holes. Oh no! Fluid was leaking onto the road! Little blue car could not shift! I cried and cried. The man in the garage said “OH NO!†But then discovered that if we replaced the lines and transmission fluid, that little blue car could run again. So I handed the mechanic my credit car and said, “I guess it’s all okay, little blue car!â€
And everyone was happy (except my credit card)! The end.
Just when I thought I was somewhat creative, I go and read everyone else’s and find that well I’m not!
George lived with the man with the yellow hat…one day George surfed the internet…George found http://www.ape-o-naut.org/famous/ and was very upset to see that he wasn’t there…George wrote an angry letter. No one cared, George now takes Wellbutrin to help handle the depression at realizing he wasn’t as famous as the other monkey’s (even though he has his own movie)…
This is why I’m not a writer!
Ooo, Oooo! Enter me, please! You will be my 2 year old’s best friend if we win. I wish I could submit a story idea, but I’ve been up for 22 hours now, and can barely remember my own name (and actually had to copy/paste my own website for this post).
I wish i could think of something even remotely creative, but i’m too tired. But hey! Something free? Sign me up!
This is Georgette. She lives in a room with bright yellow walls. Georgette was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the mommy had to talk to the daddy in the kitchen. Before she she did, she told Georgette to be good.
Georgette tried to be good, but by accident she went into the bathroom and in about 10 seconds had unrolled the whole roll of toilet paper onto the floor! Oh no! Everyone was very mad at Georgette! But Georgette was still very young and had no clue. She plopped face-down onto the cushy pile and declared “Night night!” The mommy and the daddy tried to say “OH NO!†but had a hard time stifling their laughter, so they said, “I guess it’s all okay, Georgette, just don’t do it again!â€
And everyone was happy! The end.
Oh Pretty Mir!
My son at the young age of 6 months was a monkey for halloween last year. So fitting too because I’m tellin’ ya, he averages 2 bananas a day. This also runs along with the fact that he is a fantastic climber, one day, I ran to the kitchen to grab the phone and in the mere 30 seconds I was gone he climbed from the computer tower on the floor, to the desktop to the smaller part of the desk where the moniter was. He was sitting up there just chillin’ out. I think we need this DVD.
I started reading all the stories, but only got as far as Bridgett’s because it is AWESOME. Whenever I read Curious George to my students (they often request it) I feel compelled to pepper it with my little commentaries along the same vein as that story. By now my kids all know how I feel about capturing wild animals and expecting them to behave like humans!
Oh, and no need to put me in the drawing–let someone who has a use for the prize get it!
Why, oh why can I not think up a good story, especially since I pretty much LIVE in a house with Curious George. Okay, so he’s trapped in the skin of a three-year-old girl, but still.
So I guess I’ll stick with a random comment.
My creativity is shy and hiding in the corner, unwilling to come out and write a cute story. I, however, was brave enough to post to get at least one entry into this contest to make my 5 yr old happy and dare I say quite for about an hour 🙂
Uh, I have no creativity today, so I guess it’s just one entry for me. I already have the Jack Johnson soundtrack to Curious George, so if I don’t win the DVD, at least I’ll have that.
I love that little curious monkey… I think I love him more than my daughter does… and that’s a whole lot of lovin’!
I hope to win!!!
This is Liz. Liz has a little girl named Chloe who is determined to prove that two’s are terrific- not terrible! One day Chloe decided she loved monkeys, and loved no monkey more than Curious George. Even though her mom and dad can’t understand what George is so damn curious about, they adore Chloe and want her to have anything she wants. Plus it cracks them up when she yells “My muck-ee! No toucha my muck-ee!” The end.
Thanks for all your great tips! I’m not sure I’m saving money, since I’m shopping more, but I’m paying less for everything!
Damn – all these posts hurt my little scrolly finger!
This is George. He is married to a wonderful woman named Kim. Kim does not have a yellow hat because she thinks that color is ugly. She does have a pink Boston Red Sox hat that she red puffy hearts, but that is a story for another season boys and girls… back to George.
George is a very curious Monkey. He opens up the peanut butter jars, makes a sandwich, and leaves a teaspoon behind. What a naughty monkey!
George does get into quite some trouble around the house, breaking favorite dishes, and the most treasured vaccuum – that SUCKED! (lol) but he is an excellent bug squisher so his owner keeps him around.
If you have compassion in your heart – oh you don’t know what compassion is yet do you? Well, compassion, boys and girls, is giving a crap about some nutso stay at home Mom with three kids under 6 who is a cheap ass and would love to win a free dvd from Mir because she is so very pretty… ok, that’s not really what compassion means, but that’s what it means today 😉
Kim
I’m too tired to think of a funny, witty entry, so I’m just leaving one. I’m really wanting to win the Curious George DVD for my little monkeys, since this site has made me so thrifty that I don’t want to fork over the money to do it myself.
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat and his very pregnant wife. George was a good monkey, but he was always very curious. Usually, the pregnant woman would help get George out of all the trouble he caused when he was being curious, but now she was just too big to move.
One day, George saw a very shiny picture at the top of a tall bookcase. He began to climb up the front of the bookcase – and the shelves were just the right distance apart. The pregnant lady saw what was going on and weakly murmured “you silly monkey…” but couldn’t do anything about it. Suddenly, George fell on the ground, followed by all the books and the pretty picture. But he was okay. The pregnant lady just left all the mess until the man in the yellow hat came home.
Now George knows better than to climb up bookcases! The end.
I’m WAY to tired to come up with a sparkling and clever entry, but please put my name in once! Thanks!
I’d love a Curious George DVD! But what would make the DVD so special would be the ability to tell people I got it free! AND, not just that I got it free, but I got it free from the beautiful and intelligent Mir! (Does sucking up count for two entries?)
I recently found this site and JUST love it! Thank you for all the great deals!
This is George. He lives with the man with the yellow hat. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the man with the yellow hat had to go out and do something. Before he left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but the man with the Yellow Hat had left the computer on. Even worse, he left himself logged into Ebay. Even WORSE, he had recently been looking at cars online. In spite of how good George tried to be, he accidentally clicked the “Buy Now” option therefore accidentally purchasing a $16,000 car. George is mischievious AND technologically savvy.
Thankfully, the person selling the car was gracious and let the man with the Yellow Hat out of buying the car.
Hi there! I came here through a link on another blog. You have a great site here! Love it!
I’d like to be entered into the contest too pleeease! I don’t have a clever story – because well, I’m not feeling clever at the moment. But I’ve enjoyed reading all the others!
I’ll be back again!
Hiiiiiiii!!
I’ll trade you a Curious George for a Midget Wrestler…or some olw butter… 😉 you choose
This is a great site! It’s even better because the writer is so pretty!
How bout you just pick me cause I have cute kids?
I’m not feeling creative today, but if this contest is open to Canadians I’d like to enter, please.
I just discovered your site today! It’s great! I can’t wait for your interesting and clever entries to come. Now enter me in the Curious George contest, please?
Thanks!
Oh Me, Me, pretty please – pretty Mir!
(I am fresh outta cleverness… 🙁 )
This is George. George was a good monkey, and always very curious. He lives with the man in the yellow hat. One day, the man in the yellow hat had to go out for a while. “Good-bye George! I’ll be back soon! Be a good little monkey and stay out of troule!” George found a remote on the table. George was very curious. He clicked on a show called “What Not To Wear.” “I wonder if the man in the yellow hat knows that he dresses like a complete dweeb?” thought George. “Even a monkey could do better than that!” George decided to help the man in the yellow hat. First, he called Goodwill and had the nice man take away all the ugly clothes. Then he went on Wantnot.com and got some codes for some fabulous discounts on hip fashions for the man in the yellow hat. He even picked up some sweet bling for himself at 75% off. He ordered everything at double extra express delivery, no charge thanks to pretty Mir’s magical website.
When the man in the yellow hat came back, he was angry with George. “Where are all my clothes? What are all these charges on my Discover Card???” Then the man looked closer at the new threads. “This is not much money for such nice wardrobe building, classicly styled pieces. Wow, I’m a real player in my new clothes! I wonder if I can find a woman who likes yellow hats on Glee Flarmony? Thanks George!”
Me! Me! Pick me!
This is George. George lives with a beautiful woman with the newly-colored dark hair. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. George was not a small little monkey like many of you may be thinking, because the beautiful woman with the newly-colored dark hair has no children and feels kind of out of the loop being one of the only people in the entire world who blogs and is addicted to Mir’s pretty site.
Anyway, one day the beautiful woman with the newly-colored dark hair had to go to work. Before she left, she told her husband, I mean monkey, to be good while she was gone. George tried and tried to be good, but his X-Box kept calling and George was FORCED to play NFL 2K7 instead of putting away his clean clothes that the beautiful woman with the newly-colored dark hair had so graciously washed for him. When George realized what time it was, he had to go to work and did not put away his clothes.
When the beautiful woman with the newly-colored dark hair came home, she saw that George’s clothes were still in the laundry basket in the bedroom instead of hanging in the closet as they should have been. George arrived at home shortly after, and though the beautiful woman with the newly-colored dark hair might have been upset, she was truly so beautiful that her beauty carried into all aspects of her life, and she was not mad and easily forgave George for being so silly and playing X-Box like a little kid.
Yay! Everyone was happy! The End!
(I messed up! Please add this IMPORTANT detail to the last sentence in the first paragraph…)
“who does not have children”.
(I know, everyone else blogs and is addicted to Mir’s pretty site! What’s not to love, right?)
This is George. He lives with the Mom with the stained shirt. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. One day, the Mom with the stained shirt had to go in the other room to scrub something. Before she left he told George to be good.
George tried to be good, but by accident he left his clothes and shoes in the middle of the floor, left dirty dishes everywhere, and took for granted that Mom in the stained shirt would clean it up. Oh no! Everyone was very mad at George! George cried and cried. The Mom in the stained shirt came back and said “OH NO!†But then George suddenly got a conscience and cleaned up after himself. So Mom in the stained shirt said, “Miracles happen everyday, George!â€
And everyone was happy! The end.
I wouldn’t want to go out and BUY the DVD!
OOoooooohhhh oooooh aaaAAAAAhhhh aaaahh ahhhhh!
Ooooh ooooh aah aah ah!
(that’s my monkey imitation)
(translated it says “Mir is pretty and smart”)
This is George. He lives with the woman with the stylin’ yellow hat – more commonly referred to as Mir. George was a good little monkey, but always very curious. Mir, because she encouraged curousity in those she loves, did not stop him from being curious. One day, the woman with the stylin’ yellow hat – more commonly reffered to as Mir – brought George to a friend’s house who had Two Okapis. But then the woman with the stylin’ hat – more commonly referred to as Mir – had to go out and write a story for her loyal fans (“It’s a tough job,” she was quoted as saying, “but somebody’s got to do it.”). Before she tipped her stylin’ yellow hat in farewell, she told George to be good. George covered his mouth so she wouldn’t see him laughing.
George had a wonderful time playing with his two new Okapi friends. They played games, they ran around in the backyard, they even shared some Rita’s Water Ice, which is very much like drinking flavored sugar ice. MMMMMMMMmmmmmmm
Unfortunately, the flavored sugar ice was so delicious and so sugary that all three of them got a little, um…overexcited. George and the Two Okapis literally started running around the house knocking stuff off the walls. Then George started swinging from the ceilings and before long two chandelieres had crashed to the ground, but all George and the Two Okapis could do was laugh. Then they broke a couple of doors. But the worst part came when they were jumping so heavily on their beds that the second floor completely crashed into the first floor. It was as the dust from that catastophe was settling that the woman with the stylin’ hat – more commonly referred to as Mir – walked back into the house with the Two Okapis’ Daddy right behind her.
The look on the face of the woman with the stylin’ hat – more commonly referred to as Mir – was so priceless (even in that moment of utter horror and embarrassment she looked awefully cute) that for a moment the Two Okapis’ Daddy just stared at her. Then he looked at George and the Two Okapis. Then he looked back to the woman with the stylin’ hat – more commonly referred to as Mir.
“Well,” he said, shrugging his shoulders. “We were going to move into a new house anyway.” And then he smiled at George and the Two Okapis.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and started laughing.
The end.
