I have long been a fan of Chik-fil-A, ever since the first time I laid eyes on a cow wearing a sandwich board bearing the missive: EAT MOR CHIKIN.
That? Is brilliance.
So you know that I am thrilled to report (via the lovely Julie, who is so pretty) that tomorrow, July 14th, is the 2nd Annual Cow Appreciation Day at Chik-fil-A.
Get this: Dress like a cow—head to toe—and receive a free combo. (I think this is a reasonable retail practice for anyone, really. If you’re dressing like a cow, it just makes sense that people give you free stuff.) Don’t have full cow garb handy? That’s okay—wear any a “cow accessory” and receive a free entree. (Authenticity of “cow accessories” to be judged by individual stores’ managers. They recommend anything with cow spots in the FAQ.) (Yes, there’s a FAQ for Cow Appreciation Day.)
Awesome.
If it weren’t 112 degrees here, I would TOTALLY get Charlie’s cow Haloween costume (a FLEECE SUIT!) out and take him to lunch.
I may still do it. I mean, FREE CHICK FIL A! Come on! That’s gotta be worth a sweaty four-year-old.
OMG, that is so funny.
Sadly we don’t have a CHICK FIL A near us or I’d be there dragging my cows behind me.
That is so funny! Now I’m trying to figure out how I can create 7 cow costumes before dinner tonight.
Too bad I read this 15 minutes after I got home from chick fil a!
I wouldn’t have dressed like a cow anyway, but I would have made my kids do the dirty work!
YEAH, thanks for saying I am pretty! I would be a lot prettier if I could stop eating chic fil a since I had my baby (2 yrs ago)…LOL
