… is free movies.

Do you like going to the movie theater? Do you have an ankle-biter or two (or more)? You may be able to catch some free flicks this summer! Both Regal Cinema and AMC Theaters run family-friendly movies for free during the summer, just because they’re hoping you’ll spend some bucks on snacks. (It looks like Cinemark offers a package at a deep discount, too, which is a nice deal if you can’t get to one of the free theaters.)

Heck, with the money you save on the tickets… why not splurge on the popcorn?

   Oooh, thanks Mir! I had been meaning to look this up. We never made it to one of these last summer but it’s on my list of good intentions. Some of my friends take their kids and say that it’s noisy but fun!

   I just looked this one up yesterday when a friend mentioned she goes every week to our local one. I meant to do it last summer but always forgot. This year, we’re all over it. I may put this up on my blog to remind folks, also!

   Mir, this is perfect, thanks so much! Remember when you were asking what kind of stuff we love on your blog. Deals like this (free stuff to do with kids) is very much needed as we go into the summer. Especially things that are normally way over priced IMHO.

   Hear, hear, Bonnie. We NEVER (and I really do mean NEVER) go to the movies. I just can’t stand to pay that kind of money when I could watch the same thing at home in my pj’s and pause it when I have to go potty. And FORGET taking the kids to the theater!

   Thank you so much, Mir. This is the first summer I’ve ever been home with 2 kids to entertain (i.e., keep them from killing each other) and since I’m not working, we don’t have money to do much. You’re the best!

   All three of my kids LOVE going to the movies, so this is perfect! That, and the fact that it will be a bunch of people with kids in the audience, so if mine act up a bit, I won’t have to feel like I’m starring in one of those “Silence Please!” commercials they show before the movie! And they’re good titles, too.
