Not just for sawing tables

My knowledge of tools pretty much ends with “hammers are for hitting things” and “butter knives make lousy screwdrivers,” but people smarter than I am say that this Makita table saw—which is marked down to $129, with a $70 shipping charge—is a phenomenal deal. Amazon claims the original price is $578, which as we all know is probably a bit inflated, but the cheapest I could find it anywhere else was about $315.

Not a good candidate for an impulse purchase, obviously, but if you’ve been looking for one, this is a nice deal.
