Get cooking with cast iron

You have to bear with me a bit on this deal.

If you look at this item at Amazon, it appears to be a link to a “Cast Iron Cooking for Dummies” book. If you scroll down and read the description, it’s actually an entire kit, including the book, a skillet, handle cover for the skillet, a dutch oven, and interchangeable lid.

All of which makes the $20 price tag suddenly look a whole lot better, no? (My guess is that this is a price mistake, and orders may or may not fulfilled. Fair warning.)

It’s not shipping for a while, but at that price, who cares….

    Huh. The fine print sure does include a lot more than a book. The shipping weight of 20 pounds sure does look authentic for all that stuff. And the book’s sale price alone is about $13. I got a “wonder skillet” for $6.95 to get the price over $20, so got shipping for free. And yesterday I got a reconditioned vac for $29 at the 48-hour Kitchen Sale. You rule, oh great and pretty one!

    I must have been one of the last to get one – assuming it ever gets here. I debated over it and finally decided to put it in the gift closet. I have learned something from Mir.
