I get a few questions about universal remotes every month, and my answer is usually, “What, now?” I don’t see the allure of a universal remote, myself. Trying to figure out which of the four remotes on the coffee table is the one you need to just start the movie already is part of the experience, people. Where is your sense of adventure?

Snort. Funny. Speaking of popcorn, I bought some jiffypop a while back, just for the heck of it. Not realizing, how deprived my daughter has been. She had a blast helping me with it. This is the same kid who asked me what a cassette tape was this weekend.

Actually, I am such a wuss that I don’t even like microwaving popcorn (is that enough time between pops? How about now? O NOES IZ BRNING!) I do air pop. Always bland, but never burnt, and all the unpopped nuggets stay in the popper. Yes, I am willing to sacrifice flavor for my laziness but, on the other hand, I can always add more butter & salt. Hmm, I need more bacon salt.

I just clicked on that remote link and it told me it was $78 avail April 2.
If that wasn’t a mistake that is a killer deal!
