Regulars here know that in addition to writing for approximately eleventy (it is so a number) websites and clients, I’m an avid reader. I just finished reading Note to Self: On Keeping a Journal and Other Dangerous Pursuits by Samara O’Shea, and I think I’ve developed a bona fide girl crush. It’s a fast, fun read, particularly for anyone who’s ever journaled or blogged.
I liked it so much, I’m giving away two brand-new copies. Share the love, says I. (As does the rep at Harper Collins who sent them to me, apparently.)

I faithfully journaled daily until college. Then I faithfully journaled whenever I felt that quintessential need until I became a mom. I can count on one hand the number of entries I’ve made since my two kids were born. I would love a good read and the inspiration to boldly journal this phase of my life!

Pretty please! Today is my birthday, and it has kinda sucked….it started by playing racquetball with my husband and being slammed in the face with a high speed ball between the eyes. It went downhill from there.
