My name is Mir, and I… I… I’m an office supplyaholic. I particularly like writing implements—I have an overflowing mug of pens, pencils, highlighters, and the like. And some in my desk. And some backups on my supply shelves. Plus sometimes I raid my husband’s desk.
I may have a problem, is what I’m saying.

In high school *ehem* a few years ago, I had a favorite pen, and when it ran out, I could always go buy another one. The brand, or maybe even just the style, was called Pony, and it was written on the clip thing-y. Alas, I’ve not been able to find one since, but check every so often “just to see”. I have a special needs son who can’t take just one at a time. If he needs a pencil, he has to take 10 each time. My pencil stash goes down way too fast. For a kid who never loses anything, he does manage to misplace the pencils. I think he just hides them though.
A comfortable pen is like a nice warm fuzzy blanket in winter. I love to write and words flow like syrup on to pancakes when my thoughts begin. I write on plain old primer paper because it doesn’t cloud my thinking. I am sure that I would appreciate trying these tools and having my words slide along the paper like ice skates traveling across a freshly frozen pond.

Very few things make me happier than wondering thru an office supply store! New pens would be great.
I worked in an office supply store for a year before getting married – I was in heaven. A husband and 4 kids later, and I am lucky just to find a pen with ink in it. I would love to create a “Mommy only” pen/pencil cup. Probably wouldn’t last long, but it would be fun to try.
Winning this contest would be like all the best parts of the first day of school (brand new supplies) without the bad stuff (spending days figuring out what to wear only to walk out of the bathroom with TP stuck on your shoe). What, is that just me?

Ooh, new pens are so cool. Much better than the dollar store ones. My lonely pencil cup is in need of new tennants. I keep blaming my 12 yr old for stealing all my pens and pencils. Maybe there’s another pen lover in the neighborhood stealing my stash when I’m not looking. 🙂

I would love to win! I’m tired of trying to find a pencil or a pen and end up having to use a crayon or a lip liner to take a message or write a note. I think my kids take them on purpose so they can laugh at me.

I love me some office supplies. My mother never let me go school supply shopping with her, because I NEEDED all of the different notebooks and pens and such. For school, of course.

I confess that I too feel there can never be enough office supplies. I have discovered that back to school shopping can become a beautiful thing if I just get myself something pretty while I’m at it. Last time, it was a bunch of recycled pens and pencils. Pencils made of recycled denim. Joy!

My husband has this horrible habit of leaving a pen in his work pant’s pocket every day (please, no jokes; i.e. is that a pen in your pocket…..). So, every time I do a load of laundry, I find a pen at the bottom of the washing machine. Luckily, not one single item of clothing has been ruined. I guess I should empty his pockets before doing the laundry, but who has time for that ?!?! Point being, we go through a lot of pens in my house, and this would be a fitting prize for my family. My husband would be very grateful.

I love buying office supplies especially pens (and markers in neat containers). I still have a Zebra pen that I found nearly 20 years ago when I worked retail (I just never got a refill for it).
I love grippy pens, and we’re always running out of pencils for crosswords and sudokus.

I love office supplies! I am a teacher and I know my students love office supplies too because they borrow it all. I’m glad they have it though because they need it.
As a copywriter at an advertising agency, I can’t have enough big pens, small pens, pens that dance a jig, highlighters, Sharpies (every size, shape, color, and, yes, scent), CD markers, felt tips pens…in fact, the owner revoked my Staples rights because, well, you can imagine the cost of a pen that dances a jig.

I LOVE pens – it’s an illness, really, the way I collect them. Plus my 4 year old daughter is doing great on learning to write and she LOVES pencils! So this would be perfect for us! Though I’ll admit our penmanship is not the best, practice does make perfect right?
