Would you pay $10 for 10 weeks of savings?

Sam’s Club isn’t really my cup of tea, but there’s no denying that they offer some great warehouse-type deals that can potentially save you big bucks. Of course, there’s the cost of joining, too, that must be factored into any net savings.

This weekend and next weekend, Sam’s Club is offering a 10-week, $10 membership to new customers. This may be a great way to try them out, particularly given that ten weeks will cover you for both Thanksgiving and the winter holidays.

You could probably make back that $10 on the first case of diapers or sandwich platter you buy. Or cookies! You could definitely make it back on cookies. You’re welcome!

  1. I’m going to have to tell my hubby about that!! Thanks for the tip!!

  2. Thanks, Mir!

I’ve often wished they would offer a shorter-term membership, since we only really shop there during the autumn/winter holiday season.

  3. Thank you! We have some things we were going to buy from there and now we don’t have to buy a year-long membership. Sweet!

  4. We have had a Sam’s Club membership for years! Love it and get great deals on stuff we use a lot of like syrup, ketchup, chicken breasts, peanut butter and baby wipes! Can’t beat the prices Costco is also another good one, but they are too far away from me!

  5. i wish we had one near us!

  6. i love me some sam’s club cookies. mmm. 🙂

  7. Watch out. Lots of Sam’s Club food items are about the same as buying them at the grocery store.

Exceptions I’ve found are milk, cheese, and meat– basics that make it worth the trouble.

But they suck you in and make you want things like hammocks and canoes and lawn furniture and dvds as you make your way to the food in the back.

    Beware.
