Now that the shopping frenzy is dying down (ahahahahaaaaaa…) I thought it might be time to get into the Christmas spirit. Or the spirit of the holiday of your choice. But whatever your chosen religious denomination or lack thereof, you have to admit that animated Christmas specials have most other holiday entertainment beat.
I happen to have two excellent Christmas movie collections here, and I’d like to give them to some pretty, pretty readers. First up we have VeggieTales: The Ultimate Christmas Collection, which contains five Christmas movies on DVD (The Toy that Saved Christmas, The Star of Christmas, Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving, It’s a Meaningful Life, and The Little Drummer Boy) plus 2 music discs (Christmas Singalong Songs DVD and a 25 Christmas Favorites CD). It’s a very veggie Christmas all in one set! And then there’s my childhood favorites: The Original Christmas Classics Gift Set on Blu-ray (contains Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, and Frosty Returns; if only they’d included The Year Without a Santa Claus this set would be perfect).
Are you ready to get your animated Christmas cheer on? Here’s your chance to win one of these sets. First, go review the contest rules and regulations, then come on back here and leave a comment on this post, telling me which set you’d like to win, by 8:00 a.m. Eastern (that’s 5:00 a.m. Pacific) on Friday, November 30th, 2012 for a chance to win. (If you don’t tell me which set and I pull your name, I’ll pull someone else, instead, so please follow the directions!) The two lucky winners will be pulled and announced on Friday.
