Let’s see what Overstock has happening this weekend. Here we go: $1 shipping sitewide, and 5% off all weekend (well, until 2 PM EST on Monday, 8/7, because Overstock is always just wacky that way). And I have to say, my newsletter arrived telling me how this is their most! popular! promo! ever! but, dude, shipping is normally only $2.95, so what’s the big deal, exactly? But an additional 5% off is cool. And I dunno about you, but I can always find something I want at Overstock.
And if you can’t find anything there, surely there will be something to tickle your fancy at the Friday Sale at Amazon. Unfortunately I’m not here to tell you what I think the greatest deal is this week—it could be a tent, it could be a giant box of granola bars—but it’s up to you to ferret out the deals today. I only hope I’ve taught you well, young grasshoppers.
Because Mir is very pretty, I have decided to do some shopping at Amazon’s Friday sale and tell my two favorite items! (Yes, you can thank me later.)
1. Pyrex 10-piece set for $18.99 – you can NEVER have enough food storage. Especially Pyrex. Or, at least I can’t ever have enough.
2. Holy Mackeral: I’ve never heard of this before. A vibrating condom? There are only 5 reviews, but nearly every person gave it a 5-star rating. And that person that gave it a 4-star rating? I think he doesn’t count because he said this: “Should get at least 2-3 uses out of it if you are conservative.” THAT’S GROSS.
