Hooray for the end of the week! I don’t know about you, but ’round here, the leaves are turning, the temperature is dipping, and I just want to be alone with a big mug of hot chocolate. Is that so wrong?
(My kids say: Yes, it is. Get off your butt and tend to us, woman.) (Hmph!)
Anyway. Where was I? Oh! Right! The Amazon Friday Sale is on once again, and guess what I just scooped up? A cozy set of king-sized flannel sheets for $15.99! Heck, you usually can’t buy twin sheets for that. There are lots of sizes and styles from which to choose. (Yes, the sheets are for my new bed. No, I don’t actually have the new bed yet. Hush.)
Of course, if quality percale sheets are your slumber drug of choice, check out the featured 800 thread count sheets which are 65% off.
For those of you who haven’t yet joined me in my new cult, the Cult of Robot, there are three different Roombas offered this week (you can use coupon code OCTSAVER for an additional $25 off either of the more expensive ones). These are refurbished machines, but iRobot’s customer service is excellent so buy with confidence. (My refurbished Roomba was broken, and iRobot replaced it with a brand new one. I pink puffy heart them.)
Of course, if you prefer the big honkin’ Cadillac of vacuums, you might want to check out the reconditioned Dyson Animal.
Have a little guy who’s ready for his first big-boy bike?
As always, click through the categories along the top of the Friday Sale page to see all of the deals, for there are many.
I’m going to go make some cocoa and think about my new flannel sheets….
I WANT THAT FRICKING DYSON! But am too poor. Alas.
Thank you, pretty Mir! I just bought a queen set for us and a twin set for the kiddo. We’ll be warm and toasty in our flannel sheets!
Oh baby, we have that Animal. The sigOth begged for it for months. And it is yummy.
I sure hope everyone I know needed sheets for Christmas…because that’s what they’re getting! 🙂
Oooh! They have reconditioned Dysons? I had no idea. We kill a vacuum cleaner every couple of years so it won’t be long before I need a new one and it WILL be a Dyson. Thanks for the tip!
Minutes before midnight last night I bought myself a Roomba for my birthday. No more sweeping for me!
