I guess the deal isn’t good for books – bought a book through the link above, and at checkout the price was normal and shipping was $1.40. Still a better deal than at Amazon.com, though, so I’m happy to have saved money on my brother’s b-day present in the end. 🙂
Yep, that’s what I learned- you can’t place an order solely from ‘Books, Music, Video and Games’ and get the discount. It sounds like if you order something other sections, AND stuff from the bmv&g section, the discount will apply to it all, though.
That’s kinda dumb, but whatever.
Also, once you place an order at Overstock, you cannot cancel it at all ever “because our systems are automated,” even if you discover a problem the moment you place the order.
