It’s still fine art, even if you buy it cheap

So, I get all of these deal alerts from various stores, and often they’re things I don’t really care about and suspect you don’t either (for example, I’m an affiliate with Nordstrom, for some reason, even though I’ve yet to find anything there even on final clearance which I think is worth the money).

Other times it’s something fabulous and I post it right away because stuff is dirt cheap and I think folks will be excited about it.

And then there’s the last category: Things which languish in my inbox for a couple of days before I think to myself, “You know, this might be useful.” So, if you’re looking to buy some art, it turns out that through Thursday, February 8th, Overstock is offering all of their fine art at a 10% discount. I love Overstock as much as the next person, but I wasn’t sure about this one. Art at Overstock? Would it be velvet clowns? Well, no. They have Picasso and and African art and everything inbetween.

Me, I’m wondering if I can find a way to work these two beautiesicon into a room. (You think I’m kidding. I’m not. They make me laugh.)

  1. Heh, those are funny. That’d be cute in a bathroom. Though if you do a cow pattern shower curtin that might be a bit much.

  2. I was just looking at artwork on Overstock a few weekends ago. They have some good prices and nice stuff. At the time, they had $1 shipping and now it is $2.95, but for a large framed piece(s) that cannot be beat. Shipping on big, flat, fragile items can be SPENDY through any of the major shippers.

  3. Speaking of the big O, ever since their latest home page redesign, I can’t find the Overstock Item of the Day. Did they get rid of that feature or am I just missing it in all the other text on the page? Anyone know?

  4. Oooh, thanks for this! I was literally just getting ready to buy a few prints from art.com (they also have 20% off until midnight.) But because all of overstock’s stuff is framed, that’d be an even sweeter deal.

ps… LOVE the cow prints, they made me laugh too.

  5. I am a sucker as well for cutesey cow prints.. and these fit the bill! 🙂

  6. The cow prints are great! LOL! Although, I might put them in the kitchen. On the fridge. As a deterrent. Or I could think of it as an *encouragement* to stick to my plan of eating healthier. ‘Cuz it would be REALLY embarrassing to be too fat for my shower.
