Been thinking about the Atkins diet or something similar? I haven’t. I happen to like carbs. Carbs are delicious! But I think I may have some extra carbs right here on my rear end. In fact, I think those carbs may be sneaking in at night and shrinking my jeans. It’s very puzzling.
No matter. Now I can try either the Atkins shakes or bars for free and decide whether I might be able to tolerate such things for long enough to expand my jeans back up to their normal size.
Actually, I think they are pretty good. I used the shakes when I was pregnant with my second son as I developed gestational diabetes. It helped me get TONS of protein without making me gag and helped a LOT with keeping my blood sugars low. And I hate most of these milkshakes. The high protein keeps you filled up longer too… I should start drinking them again as I gained back ALL that weight I lost during pregnancy (yes, I drop weight when pregnant – if I were permanently pregnant maybe I would be thin!)
