Twice a year, stuff goes on sale at Hanna Andersson. If you don’t know Hannas, do your wallet a favor and don’t look. Heh.
During the sale you’ll still have to sell a kidney to make a purchase, but you get to keep your liver, at least.

What’s a kidney? I have two — I can do without one! Also, I can let them have up to 80% of my liver — it regenerates itself, you know! I’ll be sick as a dog for a few months while I’m regrowing my liver, but I’ll have pretty things to show for it!
And one last sentence so I have a place to put another exclamation point!
My first baby had nothing but Hanna’s. I have a sensitive to touch/fabric son and he sometimes gets them too. They are way too expensive and I almost have a heart attack on the rare occasion when I buy more, but worth every penny if you can afford it…especially if you have a child/children to pass down to.
I think half the reason I got pregnant was so that I could buy Hanna clothing. My baby sisters used to wear Hanna dresses and they’re painfully adorable and so nicely made.
But does anyone have advice for a soon-to-be new mom? Is this the type of thing I shouldn’t buy in the teeny sizes (I’m due in July) because my baby will grow out of them so fast that they’re not worth the money? Should I wait, until, say, she’s at least 1 or something? Or can I justify buying them now, even though I already have tons of 0-3 onesies and the like?
Even at 1, they outgrow stuff ridiculously quickly. When DO they stop growing like that?
The other thing to remember is that *every* activity is messy until they are about 4 or 5, but even more so under the age of two… eating, playing, napping, whatever — they’re getting dirty and staining stuff.
Not trying to be negative, here, but if you really want to get a bang for your buck, I wouldn’t pay hefty prices for little kids’ clothing.
I’m 100% with Rachel May on this one. On the other hand, if you have enough to spend to make it a present for someone ELSE, you won’t have to be privy to its ensuing destruction at the hands of the little one.
Awesome sale, I love Hanna! At 50% off you can have your kids use it and if you can’t pass it on you can sell it on ebay and get all your money back!
