Made it through another another week

Things have been nutty ’round here (I’m moving in a little over a week, have I mentioned? No? Perhaps because I’ve been busy running in circles screaming?) but we can always count on Old Faithful—the Amazon Friday Sale—to end the week on a high note.

Mmmmm… organic dried fruit. I’m not sure what I’d do with 25 bags, but maybe you really love it?

Got batteries? (That one ships for free with no minimum, by the way.)

This diaper bag is so adorable it made my ovaries hurt a little. Funny thing is, I don’t have ovaries anymore. Very odd.

Whenever we play the “if I had a million dollars” game, I say I want one of these here professional ice cream machines. Until then—even refurbished—I continue to wonder who is buying them. And if they will adopt me.

Maybe us peasants can soothe ourselves with the Cadillac of hand mixers, instead.

But I am totally going to have nightmares about this thing tonight, and not just because it’s not actually on sale.

  1. What a great price on the mixer – thank you!

I admit that I have an ice cream maker similar to the one shown. It was a shockingly extravagant birthday gift from my husband, Mr. “I never pay more than twenty bucks for a gift.” It’s wonderful! Except that ownership of one causes a permanent 10 pound weight gain.

  2. We recently went on our first cruise, where there was 24 hour ice cream and yogurt from those machines. I don’t think we had even left the ship yet when my husband was contemplating the purchase of one of those for home. I think not!!!!

    Happy Friday!

  3. I agree the 2 red hens bags are cute, but even at $40 they are overpriced. They are just a cute fabric open top bag with little to no organization and those front slash pockets? Nothing fits in those front pockets… those freebie (though ugly) seminar totes are more useful than these… They do sell for $100 plus at a local store near me, yet you can tell they have no resale value when you see you can get them on ebay for under $30 regularly. New on ebay they go for about $50.

  4. OMG. Did you see the Loma Linda “Swiss Stake” e(not a typo . . .that’s how they spell it) with gravy? I’m not including a link because I was raised right, but I will tell you that it’s on the last page of the Personal Care & Grocery section.

I think I just got a little sick. I just had an image of eating the Swiss Stake with those Goldfish Cocktail picks.

On a happier note, nice deals on handheld Battleship and Connect Four, good for stocking stuffers.

  5. The eyes on those goldfish picks — oh, the eyes! I don’t know if I could eat with those fishies looking at me.

  6. Those cocktail picks are perfect for one of those martini play dates. They go with the Pepperidge Farm treats, you know.

  7. Maybe it’s me, but I kind of like the little fishies. Not that I would use them on seafood, though.

P.S. Mir, you are SO pretty! I followed your advice and called the airline back – they came down $120 on Sebastian’s ticket! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

  8. I would so totally carry that diaper bag as an everyday purse!
