This is what I like to call irony

So, you know how I recently moved to Georgia, which is approximately the same temperature as the surface of the sun?

Today I was browsing around and saw that the Altrec Deal of the Day is some Atlas Junior snowshoes. I certainly can’t use them (and had a little giggle of glee, remembering that these days of 104 temps will all be worth it, come winter), but they’re over half off and would be a great deal for those of you who are going to be snowbound.

My kids have always found snowshoes just about the most fun you can have without a sled; not because they’re so outdoorsy but because they lend themselves to playing Abominable Snowman.

  1. uh….it gets cold in Georgia (unless you are in the TRUE south, lol)…and they get snow sometimes…though, as a good blessing, it only lasts a day or two.

And the ice is worse…I’d rather have snow!!!

  2. Rats, $12 shipping killed the deal for me 🙁

  3. If you order two pairs…
