We survived the first week

Hey, it’s Friday! This is a particularly exciting Friday here at Casa Mir, because my children have lived through their entire first week of school in a new state. Also, it happens to be my birthday.

But most importantly, it’s time for the Amazon Friday Sale. And they actually have a ton of great deals this week. Woo!

Ohhhhh, very evil of Amazon, putting this sexy Canon camcorder right on the front page. Great reviews and half price? Awesome. (And no, not in my budget. But I can dream.)

This Philips digital picture frame is still $120, but if you’re looking for the Cadillac of the digital frames, this is it.

I am entranced by this chopper scooter thing. (Read the reviews; it’s basically a glorified scooter, but still.) It goes VROOM VROOM when you twist the handle, people. That’s pretty cool.

Now I’ve seen it all. At least, I’ve seen this heated toilet seat and I feel dirty, somehow.

Don’t just buy kitty litter… buy world’s best cat litter. (How is that measured, exactly? Wait. I don’t want to know.)

Holy crow this is a good deal: 600 thread count sheets for $39.99, even for king-size. I have the 400 TC Pike Street sheets and love them; these might be even better.

All this Jeep bike needs is a basket and a bell. And maybe some handlebar streamers. (What?) Oh, they have one for men, too.

My gran had one of those clothesline thingers. So cool, so retro. I’d be tempted to get one if my backyard wasn’t so steeply sloped (and heavily mined with rottweiler leavings), but instead I’ll stick with my foldable, portable rack.

Also, I think you should change the last line of the entry to “everybody Roomba!” The thought is making me giggle. Or maybe it’s the coffee.
