Another week down

Ahhhhhhh. It’s my favorite time of year; the kids are settling into their school routine, but they haven’t yet tired of it. Plus, Fall is coming! I know this because it’s been much cooler the last few days. Why, yesterday it only hit 98! Ahem.

Anyway, it’s Friday, and you know what that means. Yes, it’s time to delve into the Amazon Friday Sale to see what goodies we might discover.

This is the GPS unit we own and I love it with a mad, passionate fervor that results in squeezing it and calling it George. Oh, okay… that’s not exactly true. We don’t call it George. It has a woman’s voice with a British accent. So we call her Audrey.

Always using batteries for your cameras, wireless mice, and the like? You need at least one great battery recharger, if not two.

Because I am a 10-year-old boy at heart, what I love most about this Doodle Monster is not that you can write on it or even the price, but that he appears to be licking his own intestines. Ewwww.

I showed this DeWalt set to my husband and he tried to make a comment, but it was very difficult to understand him through all of the drooling.

I’m thinking of buying a few of these motion-sensing light sockets, but I’m still trying to decide where to put them so as to torture my family most.

They can call this a “toning system” all they want, but I know a Thighmaster when I see one.

This is one serious tent. I doubt it would even fit inside my car, given that I’m pretty sure it’s three times as large as my car.

Do you like green eggs and hammocks? (I hope so, because nothing rhymes with hammocks so that’s pretty much all I’ve got on that.)

I know we’ve had a lot of silverware deals lately, but have you ever looked at your flatware and said to yourself, “Self, what these need is more game birds?”

Oooh, our favorite quesadilla maker is back in the Friday Sale. Have you gotten one yet? Why not??

Did you know that Corelle makes stoneware? This set qualifies for the $20 off on two sets promo I posted a few days back, too, so you could get yourself service for 8 for just $60 shipped.

My kids will eat these pita chips like they’re candy. They’re really that good. (And I pay a lot more than that for them, usually.)

Have a great weekend, everyone!

  1. We have the same GPS …we call her Nancy. She tends to get a bit testy with us when we ignore her and reminded us of Nancy Grace 🙂 “Turn left, turn left now. When possible, make a u-turn. Recalculating”

  2. I can’t believe you didn’t mention the bowling ball polisher! C’mon, you know you want one!

  3. It cracks me up that they put this below the offer for the hammock:

Buy this item with Spine-Worx Back Realignment Device by Spineworx today!

  4. I do not like green eggs and hammocks.
I do not like them; put away that amex.

  5. Wow, I bought an 11×11 tent a while back, but that one is even BIGGER!

I bought the quesadilla maker in an attempt to get my kids to start cooking for themselves. Because I’ve been feeding them for 11 years and it’s time they started feeding themselves 😉

  6. We own a tent that’s only a wee bit smaller than that one. Ours is 11×14 (why yes, we do only have three people in our family, one of them very teeny, but we like our space. You never know when you might need to shelter a runaway camel during a storm, or something.) but it squashes down into a remarkably small bag, about the size of a golf club bag. It fits easily into the trunk of our compact car, even though said trunk is always half-full of junk we can’t be bothered to remove before going camping.

But on the other hand, that tent looks like it’d be complicated to assemble. Also, ours was much cheaper than that at Target, and this is summer-crap-clearance time there….

  7. Lots of drooling here…hubby loves his DeWalt set.

  8. I do not like green eggs, but hammocks?
I need a place to rest my buttocks.
