So, I’ve done both offers 😉 And it turns out that if you order the free-popcorn-you-pay-for-shipping, you also get a promotional code for making a “real” order that same day 😉 We’ll see how badly I want my stuff now, since I live in a warm-weather state so I have to wait for my free stuff until the end of October ;-(

I do live pretty close to a store, but this line from the press release you linked to implies the in-store promo was only last weekend…

Woohoo! I would never pay the price for their stuff, but I’m always happy to take advantage of a wonderful deal like this! My husband eats microwave popcorn all the time – I’m definitely going to have to show him that press release! Hopefully he’ll like this D&T stuff.
