In case you’re not off to soccer

(You mean, there are people who don’t have to get up on Saturday and head off to the fields? What’s that like…?)

Here’s a few deals for your weekend, to alleviate either your soccer-lacking or soccer-induced boredom.

As several of you already discovered, free popcorn is back at Dale & Thomas. You pay the $5.90 shipping and get two bags of their deluxe popcorn. I do this deal every time they have it, and then give it away as teacher gifts while eating a rice cake and grumbling. (Note to the charming human who feels the need to leave a “wow, delicious trans-fats, just like eating garbage!” comment every single time I post about Dale & Thomas—I don’t know why you feel the need to do that, but we heard you already, so you can just go kick a kitten or something instead, today. Thanks.)

It’s an O-Day weekend! Take 7% Off your order and get $1 shipping at Overstock all weekend long through that there link. Coupon expires Monday, September 24th, 2007.

Need a stroller? Chicco is giving away one stroller every day through the end of September. (Thanks, Kris!)

Oooooh, a weekend code for Restaurant.com for a change. Actually, through the end of the month you can take 60% off your dining certificate order with coupon code SEASONS. That’s $25 worth of dining for $4. Not too shabby.

Still need Halloween stuff? save up to 40% in the Spooktacular Halloween Boootique at DisneyShopping.com through the weekend. (Just a note: I suspect they will drop costume prices after this promotion ends, but that’s also when stock will be a bit thing, so you have to decide how much you’re willing to gamble if you have your heart set on something.)

Last—but not least—go get some free Tide 2X. (Thanks, Cindy!)

  1. Hey, gorgeous…
The Tide Sample’s all sold out already. You must have a billion readers. Good thing only two or three of them are sanctimonious poo-heads.

  2. Mmmm…popcorn. I stand by my earlier statements: if these are teacher gifts, I want to teach your children.

  3. I tried several times on the popcorn order and it wouldn’t accept my address. I use a PO Box for my billing and a street address for my shipping. It wouldn’t take either one. I tried calling customer seervice but they were closed. Anyone else having problems?

  4. I had an address issue, Joanne. Did you scroll down to see if they suggest an alternative address? I had put my address in as “Some Street Drive” and they wouldn’t take it unless it was “Some Street Dr.” I had to select the official USPS address before the order went through.

  5. I did click the suggested address and it changed it on the fields. But then it kept giving me the same error. It was as if I was stuck in some kind of loop. However, I just tried again and it went through. WOO HOO!

  6. hooray! thank you mir! i’m excited to try their popcorn. 🙂

  7. I had trouble with the address part of it. I took out the period in the abbreviation (N. Main St. vs. N Main St) and it accepted me. Go figure.

  8. Thanks for the heads up, I just ordered some popcorn. Mmmm, trans fats.

  9. YUM – free popcorn! Not sure if I will be able to save it for a teacher gift though…

  10. I didn’t get any kind of confirmation on the popcorn order, nor has my credit card been charged, nor have I received that gift certificate that pretty Mir posted about a few weeks ago. Anybody else having any luck? I was so looking forward to trying it.
