Here’s a fine example of the price-matching magic you can work with a bit of patience.
I just found these Sorel Toddler Snow Command Boots at Endless on sale for $19.79 (please note that only the French Blue is that price), less the automatic $5 they take off, so effectively they are $14.79 shipped. That’s a great deal on a pair of Sorel boots!
But it gets even better, because the same boots are for sale over at Zappo’s for $46.95. With their 110% pricematching policy, if you can find the same size/color combo both places, you can order them from Zappos and get them for $11.57 shipped.
(Detailed instructions on how to pricematch shoes are here. But basically you can order from the Zappo’s link above and then call in to have your total adjusted by telling them you found them cheaper at Endless.)
[Edit: Here’s another one, not quite as cheap, but comes in a couple of big kid sizes as well. Over at Endless, the Kamik Rocket 2 Snow Boots are $24.89 or $19.89 shipped, which means that pricematching them to Zappo’s price of $57.95 will make them just $16.08 shipped.]
I am no longer a price-matching virgin! I finally decided to bite the bullet and try it. I needed boots for both of my boys and they happened to have each of their sizes in the ones on sale. You are SO right – Zappos is so nice, and it was a super easy, painless experience, and definitely worth the 10% I saved on each order! Thank you for assisting me in getting both of my boys really nice boots, at a price that didn’t break the budget!
Me too! Thank you! I bought another two pair. Zappos had me on the phone waiting for quite a while but they were super apologetic AND threw in a $15.00 coupon to use on my next order for my patience. Awesome!
this is fantastic — thanks, mir! the french blue will go beautifully with my kiddo’s snow suit! 🙂
Once again Mir you rock! I did the whole price match for the first time on the much needed boots I’ve been thinking about getting for my son!! How exciting- I love a deal!
too bad it doesn’t snow in Florida or I would be buying some boots at this price!
I can’t get the link to work 🙁
No spiderman and I have to actually call someone – but that deal is too good to pass up. Normally I make them use their rain boots for the one snow trip per year, but this year we’re taking two trips 🙂
