MAC is amazing. Their makeup artists are really well-trained and you can walk in and say “I need a great lipstick for everyday” and they will pick the perfect one out for you in about thirty seconds (Twig, for me; I’ve worn it for six years now). A tube lasts forever. I started off with just the lipstick and gradually switched over to everything, and I only have to replace it maybe once a year, sometimes twice depending on the product. They also have a great recycling program – bring back six empty containers and get a free lipstick or eyeshadow. If you ever decide you want to wear a little makeup, you really can’t go wrong with MAC (and for a department store brand it’s downright cheap). Drugstore lipstick costs 7-10 dollars now; why not spend $15 and get something better that will last longer and look better?
