The extent of my Transformers knowledge

My son could tell you which Transformers dude is which, how many maneuvers each one requires to be changed from one form to another, and which ones are good and which ones are bad.

All I can tell you is that this here Cybertron Primus guy is half off at Amazon and finding him under the tree on Christmas morning just might cause the Transformers lover in your life to faint from joy.

  1. LOL! That would be my husband. His dad came to see us for 4th of July because it was opening weekend for the Transformers movie. He wanted to make it up to hubs for not being able to take him to some other Transformers thing when he was a kid. Maybe I should order this and let his dad give it to him!

  2. Thank you for the great deal. I just got one for my 7 year old! He is a transformer, power ranger loving kid!!

  3. My DH has bought a hundred Transformers of all shapes and sizes. However, he has 3 still in the box that I picked out for him as gifts. I guess a transformer isn’t a Transformer isn’t a Transformer. Well,at least now we’ve got Toys 4 Tots or Angel Tree gifts for this year. Thanks for the tip, tho, pretty Mir.
And my pearls came yesterday 🙂 They are unbroken, but I can see how they could break in that “packaging”. For those of you who haven’t received yours, its just a little cardstock wrapper with no sort of cushion.
Thank you pretty, pretty Mir for everything!

  4. Must be the mom in me, plus I have girls. That thing looks dangerous! haha

I ALWAYS wanted transformers when I was a kid. NEver got one. 🙁

  5. When I saw this post last night, I started to comment about my husband and his love of Transformers (he couldn’t wait to buy the DVD because the package was an actual Transformer). But then I thought, nah–that’s silly. And I deleted it.

So coming here this morning and reading about everyone else’s husbands warms my heart. Apparently I’m not the only one who married a kid in a grown-up body. 🙂

  6. Absolutely not, Sharkey! I’ve got two Transformers I ordered from HasbroToyStore when Mir posted that deal…and they’re both for my husband. And Crista is right–a Tranformer isn’t a Transformer isn’t a Transformer! When that Hasbro deal was posted, I emailed it to the wife of my husband’s best friend who is an even bigger Transformers lover than Andrew and we had some giggles over the fact that we didn’t know which ones were “cool” and which were “lame.” And then we remembered that we were talking about men in their early thirties rather than actual children.

Nonetheless, I think I picked out some good ones and they just arrived and I’m excited to give them to him.

But yes…husbands who are kids at heart everywhere seem to love the Transfomers. (And Legos.)

  7. Mir,

Did you know that if you go to http://www.transformersmovie.com, you can have Optimus Prime call Monkey? My husband had him call my daughter and it pretty much freaked her out.

  8. OK, that was AWESOME Carrie! Thanks for posting that–I did one for my husband and he’s been talking about it all night. And his best friend’s wife did the same for hers and he loved it, too.

    Thanks!!!

  9. Yes, thank you Carrie!! That is really awesome!
