I don’t know what’s going on at Lands’ End this year—after years of never offering coupons of any kind, they’ve been awfully generous with the free shipping specials this year! I don’t know why and I don’t need to know, I guess, but it’s pretty darn nice.

Damn! They had free shipping last week… I missed it and ordered a huge pile of stuff this weekend and paid $16.95 for shipping. Now they have free shipping again? That sucks! I think I’m going to email them and ask them for a credit. Thanks anyway for the headsup!
(And BTW… I think they may be having sales and free shipping like this because lately their quality has been suffering a bit. I don’t know if it has anything to do with Sears, but their sizing and overall quality has become really inconsistent. It’s frustrating to not know whether I should order a Large or an Extra Large. They still have the best selection of just great basic stuff though.)

I remembering seeing an article somewhere (Consumer Reports?) that said the big shopping incentive this holiday season was going to be free shipping. And I’m seeing free shipping offers all over the place.
