Black Friday, the sequel

Some more places to scope out from the comfort of your home, rather than fighting the crowds:

The specials are up at Kohls, where the “early bird” stuff is good until 1:00 pm. (Hey, Kohls—that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.) Use coupon codes MVC3236 for free shipping and GREETING15 for 15% off (they stack) with a Kohls charge.

Here’s a link to the Doorbusters at Old Navy, where shipping is a flat $5 not to have to go to the mall.

If you’ve been contemplating something from the Apple Store, they’re celebrating Black Friday with special discounts and free shipping on select items.

Right now there’s free shipping on everything at ShopNBC if you pay with Paypal, and today only you can use coupon code YSHOPBF to take 15% off any web-exclusive electronics.

Aaaaaaand… don’t forget to revisit the previous few posts; many of the stores that had Thanksgiving Day specials have a new crop of specials for today.

Here’s hoping you’re having some pie for breakfast and shopping leisurely in your pajamas, the way God intended.

  1. OK, I have lurked long enough. Thanks for all of the daily posts you list, I read your blog daily, and have picked up some great deals thanks to you. You are lovely!!!

  2. Pumpkin bread for breakfast. With reheated coffee. Well, it works. I think I’ll pick up a decent sweater for Husband at Kohls.

  3. Pretty, pretty Mir, thank you for all you do for us. 🙂

If I’m reading the Kohl’s site correctly, I believe that the early bird specials are good on-line until 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Since I’m barely awake before 1 p.m., that was very good news for me indeed.

  4. Thank you for finding us deals (as usual)!!

I did hit up Old Navy and had a 10% off coupon so I got some good deals. Finally got the maternity winter coat I’ve been wanting for under $50! Also did some shopping for my elderly grandmother — she wants to give her great grandchildren gifts, not money, and I have the honor of picking out the gifts and she pays for them. It is truly wonderful to shop w/ someone else’s money! LOL

I’ve been trying to hit Kohls but their site has been down for the last couple of hours for me.

  5. I had pie for lunch.

  6. We wanted the 19″ flat screen tv from Target that they had on sale for $199 but there was no way I was getting up early to wait in line and possibly not get one. I spent the morning at an Annie Leibovitz and Ansel Adams art exibit.

We went to Target tonight, around 6:30pm and there was one left on the shelf. Everyone that worked there was shocked. They thought they were all sold out. I don’t know if someone bought it earlier and returned it or what. It was a sign that we must buy it. My sister is a manager at a Target (on the other side of the country) and she said all of the tvs were gone by 7am. That was my big deal of the day.
