Mir, we have a steam cleaner and while I was really excited to get it, after I used it a few times, it lost it’s novelty. We had two dogs, two toddlers and very light carpet. Needless to say it took a while to clean them with our own cleaner vs. hiring someone. Now we’ve got darker carpet, young kids and no pets (yet), so maybe it will work faster on these carpets! 🙂
