I’ve ordered from Home Decorators Outlet twice, now, and both times I’ve been very pleasantly surprised with my purchases. Each time I thought “Eh, it’s cheap… it’ll do,” and then my item turned out to be, well, nice. I love it when that happens.
Anyway, they have all sorts of home stuff—furniture and rugs and the like—plenty cheap, already. But through February 15th, 2008, they’re also offering an automatic $20 off orders of $175+. That’ll probably cover the shipping, in most cases.
[They have an oak file cabinet there which I’m coveting, but not buying. Because although it would look awesome in my imaginary library, under the circumstances I can probably make do with an imaginary file cabinet….]

Score! We need a club chair for the newly renovated basement, and I love to buy from HDC. I’ve purchased master bedroom furniture, dining room chairs, rugs, drapes, and lamps from them and have always been delighted with the value and quality.
Ooh, and also barrister bookcases and regular bookcases. Come to think of it, we furnished most of our house through HDC.
We, too, have purchased from them – master bedroom dressers and nightstands, office desk and just two days ago our new CD rack (with doors!) and filing cabinet/console shipped. We just moved into a new house and the 10+ year old CD racks and crappy bookcase HAD TO GO!
