I don’t watch Lost, possibly because by the time I figured out that everyone thought it was amazing, I figured I was too far behind to catch up. Still, I keep vowing to rent or buy it, someday. You know, when I have time. Stop laughing.
Anyway, if you got yourself a shiny new Blu-Ray over the holidays and are feeling the Lost love, you should know that right now Amazon’s got the complete third season on Blu-Ray DVD for just $39.99. That’s apparently a steal.
(But what do I know? I’m just the person who’s barely switched off of The Learning Channel since the WGA strike.)
I just have to say that I have that same plan for Lost! 🙂
We WILL have time…someday. And our kids will roll their eyes at the corny old-timey TV show. Sigh.
I didn’t see my first Lost episode until the season 2 premier, and at that point, I rarely had enough time to catch one episode a week, let alone get the DVDs and try to catch up on 24 hours worth. The few episodes I’ve seen were really good, but I just can’t catch up on all of it now, either.
We finally got our act together and watched Lost in time to “go live” with season 3. It is awesome, and you will get caught up fast because it is that addictive. Plus each episode is only 42 minutes when you watch it on DVD.
I’ll also confess that we just started watching the Sopranos about 6 months ago – we’re up to season 4 via Netflix!
FYI—abctv.com or whatever is showing all previous 3 seasons via streaming….and if you can’t be bothered to watch right now, there is a brief episode description, for each episode….of course you don’t get all the details and the “aha’s!” but it’s a start so you won’t feel left out =)
