There’s tons of deals to be had in the Outlet section, including a very tempting selection of Dooney and Bourke handbags on clearance. Yeah, they still cost way too much, but if you’re into that sort of thing, this is one way to save a few dollars.

Bog deals….that reminded me that you can claim your own piece of Scottish real estate when you buy a bottle of Laphroaig scotch. We’re now proud owners of one square meter of peat bog on the remote isle of Islay. You can visit your land, too – they will loan you a pair of wellies and guide you to your spot, then bring you back in for a wee dram of their scotch. Which you will need after standing in the freezing cold wind, staring at your parcel of mud. It’s on our travel list. (Cuz what else do you do in a remote, cold, windswept corner of Scotland?) (Don’t answer that!)
