I feel like I’ve been posting a lot of Kohls stuff lately, partly because they’ve had a lot on clearance, and partly because I recently got a huge bag of stuff there for about $12. You can’t not love a place where you can regularly buy stuff for about 90% off, says I.
(Embroider than on a sampler. It’s poetic.)
Anyway. Right now Kohls has two coupons available to cardholders: Both MVCCHARGE15 and MVCHOME15 give 15% off, apiece. And here’s the awesome part—they can be stacked! Use ’em together for 27.5% off. Or—if you’re buying a bunch and the $.99/item shipping is bumming you out—just use one, and combine it with code MVC9505 for free shipping.
Not a cardholder? Well, you can still use MVCHOME15 for 15% off.
Who comes up with these codes? Sometimes they make sense… like the Restaurant.com ones… and other times it looks like something my three-year-old writes on his paper. 😛
I just went to our local Kohl’s this morning. (Mir, it’s brand new and not crowded at all during the week!) They are having some AMAZING clearance deals right now. I was shopping for baby gifts, so I got some Carter’s outfits/packs of onesies for $4.50-6 (some originally $22)! I also scored on their Kohl’s Cares for Kids books–the older promotion (Guess How Much I Love you? author) hardcover books were only $2.50! I love giving little outfits plus a book for the baby’s bookshelf, and that is one of my favorite books! The gift closet is filling up! 🙂
I have to say that I do love Kohl’s and particularly their clearance section. However, I find that ordering anything clearance on their website is a HUGE disappointment. Everytime I order something, it ends up being “out of stock” by the time I check out. A few weeks back, I ordered those great beach towels that Mir brought to our attention and my order went through and everything and then I got an e-mail from Kohl’s later that day saying my order was cancelled because they had sold out. Today, I went through their clearance clothes for kids and had put 10 items in my cart. By the time I checked out, 6 were out of stock and I had to go back and delete them in order to finish checking out. It’s not like I took a whole lot of time going through this stuff either – it was all a matter of minutes from start to finish. Needless to say, I just opted not to buy anything. I will keep being a loyal Kohl’s shopper, but only to their actual stores. Anyone else have bad luck like this or is it just me?
AnotherGA mom–I totally and completely agree! I have gone through and browsed online once or twice, adding things to my cart and then the same thing happened–out of stock. So, I have never ordered online from them, but I am often in their stores for the deals. I think there’s also something about the thrill of the hunt in person too. 🙂 I found an adidas t-shirt for myself for $4.40 today!!
