This has been One Of Those Weeks. And that’s all I’m gonna say about that, because I have some Amazon Friday Saleing to do. (Why yes, saleing is totally a word. Because I said so.)

Awwww, it’s a doggie seatbelt!

It’s nearly barbecue season, again. (Of course, for us it never stopped being barbecue season. We grilled hamburgers last night. Have I mentioned I love the south?)

Clicking through some Friday Sale dishtowels brought me to this set of three which comes in a variety of colors and is just $6.99. Plus, it’s part of the 4-for-3 promotion, so you could really clean up (get it? clean up? I… think I need more coffee) if you needed a bunch.

I have no idea what an impact nailer kit is for (nailing?), but at 66% off and great reviews, I’m going to go ahead and give it a thumbs up. Whatever it is.

Holy cow, recharge your batteries in just 15 minutes with this Duracell charger. Comes with 10 batteries, too.

Have you loaded up on Pyrex food storage, yet?

I maintain that making your own bread is really not very hard, but if you are dough-challenged or just plain short on time, this Breadman bread machine is nearly half off at $59.99, with great reviews. (And you know how I’m a fool for stainless appliances. How you doin’, Mr. Breadman?)

Have a wonderful Friday, everyone!

  1. Is that “How YOU doinÒ€ℒ, Mr. Breadman?” aka Joey Tribiani!? πŸ™‚

You know, I do not think that I have ever ordered from the Amazon Friday Sale. That is sad considering that I’m a loyal wantnot reader! πŸ™ But I DID place TWO orders yesterday to take advantage of free shipping (1 book was a pre-order and I needed a different book ASAP, hence 2 orders and one will come quicker).

    Happy Friday all!

  2. Bread machines aren’t just for the dough-challenged. I’ve made my own breads since childhood, and resisted getting a bread machine for many years. But… There is nothing like waking up to a freshly baked loaf of bread in the morning, and not having to get up at 3:00 AM to make it. The model on sale also has a gluten free cycle. I bought one for my mother last year, and she makes some wonderful gluten-free loaves with it.

  3. Several of the same colors of those towels are on sale for $3.49 at Linens N Things, http://www.lnt.com. Not the color I want, but thought someone else might be interested.

  4. Just so you know – we got a foot of snow a few days ago, and I’m STILL Barbecuin’! LOL…I don’t let a little thing like snow stop me….I just get the shovel out and make a path to the grill!!!

  5. Do you know if it is possible to find a list of all of the items eligible for the 4-for-3 promotion at Amazon? I need A LOT of Pyrex!

  6. I broke down and got the bread machine, the one I have always coveted is out of my price range. With some current sales made via Amazon (yay for used books!) and the discount, I got it for $30.00 shipped. I am tired of high bread prices, and nagging my husband to get bread without corn syrup added. Happy Valentine’s Day, early, to me!
    THANK YOU!!!

  7. We have that Duracell charger and battery pack ($29.99 at Costco) and I can vouch for it: it’s great.

  8. Ooh we have that breadmaker, I use it twice a week (1x for bread, 1x for pizza dough) and it’s great!

Mir, please tell Chris that this particular Breadman makes really great gluten-free bread! πŸ™‚

I just scored $13 sheets for my new King mattress – long live the A.F.S. and three cheers for WantNot!

  9. I LOVE using my bread machine on the dough setting – beautiful home-baked artisany-looking breads for those of us with not a single kneading muscle in our arms!
