Coupon code S2A28 is still working for 15% off at childrensplace.com, and they’ve just taken their first spring markdown on select merchandise. (This of course means that everyone I have my eye on for my kids is still full price, but maybe you’ll find a deal….)
Spring has sprung, and young men’s thoughts turn to thoughts of… hedge trimming. (Hey, 77% off a Black and Decker trimmer is pretty romantic right?)
I’m off to wrangle children and enjoy the day… have a good one!
I think most people have heard about the HD-DVD/Blue Ray wars, but just to make sure: the Planet Earth set is in the HD-DVD format. This does not mean it is a high def version that will play in your regular DVD player; this means it is the HD-DVD format that will only play in a HD-DVD player. If you’ve been waiting for a victor in HD-DVD vs. Blue Ray (the two high definition platforms that have been competing for dominance),well, Blue Ray has won and HD-DVD is going the way of Betamax. This means that very soon there will be no more HD-DVD players or movies. This is also probably why this version of Planet Earth is $50 off.

Hedge trimmer? I can’t see my hedge under the snowbank. I suppose that’s why they’re on sale — to remind me to think about spring.
