Nano deal (or, continuing the Apple love)

I think I’m becoming one of those crazy Apple people. I’m sorry. I drank the Kool-Aid and it was goooooood.

Anyway, if you’ve been thinking about an Apple Nano, here’s a deal for you: Right now at Buy.com, you can get a refurbished 3rd generation 4GB iPod Nano for $99.99 shipped. And if you apply for their Revolution credit card, it’ll be $50 off of that.

That’s cheaper than the Apple store. But still a shiny, pretty Apple product.

Now, if you’ll excuse me… I have to go back to watching at the window for the DHL guy—he’s bringing my iPhone today.

  1. Oh FINE, just gloat about your shiny iPhone, whydontcha? Hmph.

I’ll get one eventually. I *do* appreciate hearing from an actual consumer about how awesome they are, cuz it will make it easier for me to plop down that cash.

  2. THANKS! Got mine today!!

  3. I’m using my tax money to get myself a laptop. I’m waffling a macbook and a dell – and good LORD the macbooks are expensive. I honestly don’t know which way to go. Sigh.

  4. I work on a mac at work and a pc at home and the main difference that I see is whether you do more work like excel, word etc or are you more into graphic arts, music etc. for work, I prefer the pc and when I need to send work to companies, clients etc, I have more problems with the mac stuff I send because most companies have pcs. We just upgraded our microsoft both at home and at work and the one issue with the mac version is that there is no real support for it yet vs. the pc where many people have been using for awhile. Just wanted to put my 2 cents in because it is such a large expense.

  5. I’ll be the proud owner of an iPod in 7-9 business days. I feel like the last person on earth that doesn’t have one.

  6. My husband and I ordered iPhones from AT&T the other night. Mine should be here today. His is back ordered with no end in sight. 🙁 Guess they got overwhelmed.

I have a MacBook and he has a MacBook Pro. We love them. They rock. It’s true there is an occasional compatibility problem, but the beauty of the Intel is dual-platform. Husband has both Leopard and Windows on his. Yes, it cost more, but it’s nice to know you have that option. (Plus, Macs are so much SHINIER and PRETTIER than Dells!)

  7. And Macs rarely need repair so there’s that.

Candace, you are not, I am. I still am. I dunno, I don’t go anywhere that I need to be plugged in. If I’m home I turn on the radio or CDs and when I am in the car, same story. I don’t go to the gym and I don’t run so I guess I don’t NEED an ipod.

Oh well, still holding out for the iphone. Thought I’d get one for my birthday but husband slacked BIG TIME!

    ~K!
